:o :geekdanc:

Holy!  When I was shopping for my first AR, the MR556 was one that I really wanted.  I was all about HK guns at that time.

Between an HK762 and SCAR 17, dayum!

Well I mines as well do it one time already and be done. Work won’t allow me to much time to take off just to go to the station twice. So busy at work. Last time I did that, bought my the HK556 and a Tavor at the same time. Mainly cause so I could register them together. Now, for the reason these rifles I’m in the market for is to keep within the family. Pass them all down to my son and daughter later. And also Incase this the ban does go in effect.

Yup.  Buy once, cry once.  At one point, I HAD to have an LMT MRP.  Knowing what I know now, I would have gone with something different, but I still have the LMT and it's one that I shoot the most.  It was pretty pricey.  I probably could have picked up two quality ARs for the price of what I paid for the LMT.

Tavor is one that I would love to own.  In both 5.56 and 9 mm!

Anyway, OGC is probably your best bet for finding that SCAR.
SE has 2 MR762 in stock. Supposed to go down today. Just been busy. The mrs was the one reminding me that we better get down there or else it’s gonna be gone.lol.. Though gonna definitely go in this week. But the SCAR 17S? OGC has none. They say they didn’t have one for awhile. They do have the 16s. But I don’t want another 556/223 rifle. Already have 2. Just wanted 2 different type 7.62 rifle to my collection. Anyways, guess I’ll invest in a nice glass for the MR instead. Probably the same kind of glass and mount I have on my 556 version. Or something else. Anyways thanks again guys for making it easier for my decision to go ahead and purchase. And not worry about a ban.. Mahalo  :shaka:

I to thought about this.  But not buying a complete rifle due to space, money, and I don't really like having 2 of the same items.

Two is one...One is none.

I never regret what I purchase for anything.  In the end, it’s all about preference. Buy what you want, enjoy what you want, it’s ones own earned money, don’t look back. But also, don’t spend beyond capacity.. We all deserve to treat ourselves sometimes. Especially when you so busy with work, with family things, kids school tuition , daughters music lessons, sons sports, kids wants, sons new car, and of course listening to the mrs at the end about her day work.. lol.. the years go by very quickly. And we getting old quickly too..lol

I used to think that's what folks said to justify buying more guns, but that's something I've found to be true.  I've seen many guns fail or become inoperable for sometimes the least expensive part on a gun.

I hear ya.  I don't regret investing in the MRP.  I also agree that you should definitely enjoy and treat yourself from time to time.  It's your hard earned money. Shooting is a hobby that I definitely enjoy, so I tend to treat myself quite often.   ;D
