Cops in America are the good guys. Doesn't mean they will always be the good guys and power should always be checked but for the most part, cops are our friends.

That is a poor mentality or approach to take as you alienate everyone, outside of your "bubble", even those on your side.  Also, don't lump all Big Islanders into the asshole Puna District mentality.  I say that as my family lives there and I have a residence there also, and I prefer to speak on my own behalf.
