The government is doing the spying -- phones are just one of their many ways.

Anyone having issues still. Mines been out since Saturday afternoon. Called spectrum and they say no outage but can see it dropping in and out at my modem.

Uninterrupted Spectrum internet, phone, and cable TV service since the last lightning strike a couple of months ago.

It's not really the carrier, but the main servers that were going to shut down for an "update".  So they guys above internet providers.  IIRC ICONN or something like that was the name.

Conspiracy theorist say that it's to update for when they have to control what's being reported on the net.  Indictments coming soon for Obama/Clinton admins.  Her giving up her clearance was the start, before it got revoked. This is why the "presidential alert" was tested to see how many could receive info direct from the White House.

With indictments, riots will follow and the fake news will report only what the left wants you to hear.  "10 days of blackout".

I wouldn't call myself a conspiracy theorist, but I like to read stories about stuff like this for entertainment purposes.  (See Training Day reference.  "The newspaper is 99% bullshit, but I read it because it entertains me.  You won't let me read the paper, so you entertain me".) #tinfoilhat
