New Glocks 43x & 48

Oh ignorant youth, the world is not a joyous place. The time has come for you to dispense with the frivolous pleasures of childhood and get down to honest toil until you are sixty-five. Then and only then can you relax and collect your social security and live happily until the time of your death!

I'm glad I waited.  Will be picking up a 43x if my wife lets me lol.
"The rifle is a weapon. Let there be no mistake about that. It is a tool of power, and thus dependent completely upon the moral stature of its user. It is equally useful in securing meat for the table, destroying group enemies on the battlefield, and resisting tyranny. In fact, it is the only means of resisting tyranny, since a citizenry armed with rifles simply cannot be tyrannized."

I was eventually going to get a Glock, but now its very confusing.  So many models, some mags work with more than 1, some don't.  And most of them all look the same.  Reminds me of a supplement line named Muscle Tech.  So many products it gets overwhelming.

Wait a little longer for the 43XT.  T for Twin.  It will be a twin magazine with two barrels no bigger than the present G19 and able to shoot 9MM and 22LR interchangeably with a select fire switch.   :D

Might be good for people with small hands.  Wish they made the mags compatible with the Glock 43 so I could carry one as a spare

Sooch00 already has a review up

I’m going to hold off to see if Glock comes out with a full frame rail variant.

Hmm.  I'm certainly interested in trying out the 48.  I've shot the 43 and 42 quite a bit here and there and while I thought they were nice shooting guns, I liked the Shield a lot more.  When shooting the 17 and 19, the grip size is such that I have to break my grip ever so slightly to eject the mag.  I think the slightly skinnier width of the 48 could help that.  That said, I think I'd likely stick with a 19 for a number of reasons.  However, given some extra gun funds, I could see owning a 48.

Not that it matters since here in Hawaii we can't legally carry outside of home, business, or place of sojourn( sojourn is where?).
I prefer small frame SIG de-cockers and PPK for concealed carry.
Open carry I'd stick with 1911A.
If I had to go with DAO I'd stick with a good
revolver, like a GP100.
If I was a cop that sprays and prays,  Glock 17.

G48 is the first Glock that has interested me,  in that I am considering to take a hard look at, maybe purchase...  I think it is the perfect size for states like ours that like to neuter magazine capacity.  No wasted space, nice and thin.  Should be a good shooter.

Pretty much yeah! Lol.

Guessing typical glock staple gun trigger.  Opposed to the long reset double action kahr trigger.  faster reset and follow up shots.

Prefer kahr trigger for smoothness over glock,  but it doesnt do well for really rapid firing.

Is really rapid shots that much of a benifit, dunno....

It’s been a while since I’ve shot a Kahr. Maybe 10+ years. I do recall them being long and heavy though.

As for benefit of rapid shots, depends on intended use. For me? Yes.  ;D

When’s the next range day?
