The Ban for any magazines of 10 rounds

Oh ignorant youth, the world is not a joyous place. The time has come for you to dispense with the frivolous pleasures of childhood and get down to honest toil until you are sixty-five. Then and only then can you relax and collect your social security and live happily until the time of your death!

I'd rather have a bottle in front of me, than a frontal lobotomy.

Keep an eye on HB1475 - the Hawaii Short Form Bill relating to firearms.

If SB1334 and HB1303 dont get a hearing and die in committee, who knows that HB1475 will contain regarding firearms.

House Speaker Scott Saiki introduced HB1475. It has until March 1st to proceed or it too will die for this session.

I worry about every bill they put forth here. It's the 1 line item that will end everything

What is HB 1475?

I looked it up on the legislature website and it literally says nothing in the bill.

SECTION 1. The purpose of this Act is to effectuate the
2 title of this Act.
3 SECTION 2. The Hawaii Revised Statutes is amended to
4 conform to the purpose of this Act.
5 SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

 Report Title:
Firearms; Short Form

Short form bill relating to firearms    ???

Its there to cover anything they want to add in. Since its title is under firearms, then it can only be used for firearms. Good or bad.

Its a single referral to JUD therefore they have to schedule a hearing by March 1st. The announcement of the hearing needs to be made 48 hours prior to March 1st. Its during this hearing is when they decide what language is inserted into this free for all bill. Then it gets referred to committees for another hearing to be scheduled.

If no hearing is scheduled by FEB 27th. Then HB1475 is dead for this session.
