That looks like fun. A roller lock in .223? Can fire lead out of that if you want since there is no gas system for it foul up. And very low recoil with that huge bolt soaking most of it up.

Not sure if its a good deal, though. Brother doesn't list who made it. If it was PTR that would be a good deal, but I don't think PTR makes a .223. Current price is right in line with a lightly used Century C93.

I know more about the 7.62 roller lockers so I can't say too much about the 93 clones. If I was interested in a .223 I'd be rolling over to Kona to pick that sucker up, though. Love the roller lock idea since I can cast my own.

If you reload your brass you'd want a port buffer for it. The roller locks throw the brass out almost as fast as the bullet... your neighbors at Kokohead are not going to like you very much.  ;D

Dammit! Now I kinda want one.  :(

Can get 'em for $650-ish new. Might could actually afford that and I'm already loaded with brass I picked up at the range...

I'm going to be one poor buggah if I hang out here on this forum too much.

If I were you guys I wouldn't buy any Century clones.  It's a hit or miss on how they will work.  You can read more on HKPro about them.

I have a 93 clone.  Had it make off a Vector flat, HK parts kit, 1:7 Rim Country barrel.  Shot pretty tight, but mags are pretty expensive compared to the G3/91.  Also the action gets filthy after one shot.  Reloading brass is more a function of the rear of the ejection port and how the case hits it.  I've got a 91 that is relatively minor on the dings, but my SR9TC puts two pretty bad dents on the side of the case.

If functioning correctly the rifle should eject to the 2 o'clock position.

Windam Weaponry, I believe was a factory for Bushmaster prior to its acqusition by the Remington group. Remington decided to close the windam plant to consolidate its factories. The owners of the factory decided to go into business on their own as the factory employed a lot of people in their small town (if i remember correctly) in Maine. So basically they are Bushmaster ARs.

Remington wasn't supposed to close the Windham plant when they bought Bushmaster.  Was part of the deal.  So when they did, the old Bushmaster owner decided to fire up the factory to give all the people jobs and make quality rifles like Bushmaster USED to make.  My Bushmaster says "Windham ME" not Ilion NY.  Windham is supposed to be pretty good and they have a real good presence on AR15.com.  The only thing I don't like about Windham is their logo...simple cursive not very creative.  But then maybe that is what they intended.
It is what it is.
