Only in Liberal America would elected leaders fight against including the question of whether you are qualified to be counted in the census.

Claiming that a question MIGHT suppress responses could be argued for any number of questions.  The information collected is very personal and might conflict with IRS records, welfare benefits information, etc.

Yet, nobody is saying we should not ask "Please provide information for each person living here. Start with a person here who owns or rents this house, apartment, or mobile home. If the owner or renter lives somewhere else, start with any adult living here. This will be Person 1. What is Person 1's name?"

No problem collecting answers to, "Is Person 1 of Hispanic, Latino, or Spanish origin?" and "What is Person 1's race?"

There were 10 questions in the 2010 census form.  Why are 2 of them (20%) about race?

the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.
