I hope the best for both victims. A speedy recovery for the man, and for the woman to eventually overcome the trauma she likely faced today.



Gee I wish there was some kind of law that we could pass that would raise a red flag in regards to convicted criminals obtaining guns. He probably bought it at a gun show... because you know..... the loophole. We must make it illegal for violent criminals to commit crime NOW!

Not much a legal CCWer could do in that situation either, with the bad guy already pointing his gun at you and yours still in the holster.  Like was said, we really need to outlaw shooting innocent people by toughening up the assault laws.  Yeah, that should scare the bad guys so they won’t commit crimes.

The multiple felon should have been provided a dirt nap by the state a long time ago and saved everyone a lot of grief. Bet he'll be out again in a couple of years and do it (hurt/kill someone) again. Why wouldn't he?

Firstly - attempted murder is illegal. So we can just stop right there.
Seconder - using a gun is more illegaler in an already illegal activity.
Threed - the victim should have informed the assailant to stop as his activities are illegal and wrong
Fourd - HPD says they will handle all of the crime. Why didn't they have an officer in the victims car to protect them? That's there job. (oh wait, HPD IS handling all the crime. I forgets about kealohas and stuffs)
Fives - felons no can have guns so he did more illegaler
