Let me correct a misnomer you have. My S&W Model 547 was developed in the late 70's/early 80's, long before they started making Wilson Combat 1911's in 9mm. So as far as I am concerned the 9mm is meant for the greatest handgun on the planet, S&W K Frame!!!! [Yeah, I'm "Mostly" kidding, too]

The Wilson Combat 1911 is a gun that I've wanted for a while, but realistically is still a "one day I'd love to own" gun.  But I dunno.  Recently, I've splurged and picked up a couple of those things where were formerly on the "nice to have one day" list.  I have a RIA 1911 in 9 mm and want to shoot it in a pistol match after I swap out the front sight.  But then I'd need more mag. . . it never ends. . .

If I can make it to the shoot, I was thinking revolver since you're a revolver guy.  But now I may have to bring something more "fancy". . .

Nighthawks are nice too!  I've actually shot a few as well as a couple of Les Baers.  Very nice guns!

All I have is light loaded 357 and 9mm. I’m bringing my Smith 627 and my Smith 547.
