why not just say 2250. but anyways, price keeps climbing for the new Pythons
I'm glad I picked up a nice Springfield 1911 for much cheaper. I could probably add on a S&W PC revolver, combined with the 1911, about the same price as the new Python
i'm not too happy with Colt and how the price is so high on the Python bc supply is so low. maybe its a great revolver, but I wouldn't know bc there arent any to look at. also how they recently went out of the AR business to the civilian market and then when price is going high and demand is high, now they want to cash in on the market. i can get double the quantity of firearm and have at least or higher quality than Colt. i have 1 Colt, the Cobra. its a nice gun but its not leaps and bounds over a Ruger or S&W of similar value. its not like the Python is in super high demand like an AR these days. i'm no market genius but seems to me that Colt could have a corner on the higher end revolver market. forget the AR and SA revolvers for now, just produce a ton of Pythons for a few months and sell them for 1300 which they were selling for at the beginning. i bet they would make more money selling Pythons at a cheaper price than selling AR's at an inflated price. everyone and their momma makes AR's, but only Colt makes the Python. that could be their marketing slogan
2250 is just too high price for me. theres better things i could buy for that money. maybe if i was uber rich, i'd still get one, maybe not. but i'm not so its out of the question now
i've been thinking for a while: wait for the Python, or plan B: get a good 1911, and that's what i did, just gotta wait for my hpd appts
