Hey guys, my pistol permit to acquire is ready to pick up today.  What is everyone doing for registration?  Will the permit team help schedule a registration date?

After you go down and acquire for your handguns permit  I know you will have to wait  14days before you pick up the permit.  Will they notify you to pick up the permit?  Is it usually around 14days or sometimes longer?  My appointment to acquire is July 9th

When you go to apply, they tell you the date range that you
can come back to pickup. It’s 14 days from your appt date, so it’d be the 23.

I scheduled my registration on the same day I pickup my permit which I think you should do because sometimes the next available reg appointment is not in the allotted time frame. If you wait to schedule reg until you pick up your permit.

They won't notify you.  You can pickup your permit after the 14 day waiting period.  You have 7 days to pick it up.

After you hand them your permit application, they will point out the dates for permit pickup.

A few tips:
1.  take a pic of the dates
2.  set reminders in your phone calendar

Forgot to add.  They notified me once when the doctor I put on the permit retired.

Do they allow you to change who the appointment is for? It seems I don't need to make an appointment in order to pick up the permits, but I already scheduled for it.

If yes, I have a Jun 5 appointment up for grabs.

How many of these appointments are no-shows?  Could be the anti-gun nuts reserving spots to interfere.
