He writes in poems.

It's almost like he's writing...

Always with the negative waves, Moriarity, always with the negative waves.   :geekdanc:
I sent most my life making a living with facts and data.
d(10) = 0
The Derivative of a constant is null, zero, nada.
I picked that as an example of what Democrats
are, a constant that does nothing useful..

I also used perception to motivate people
assigned to work with me.
I am not a good liar, so I don't even try.
Call it negative,  I call it truth, that confirms
the anecdotal data available.

If you want inspiration go listen to a charlatan
politician.
Remember the Derivative
of a constant is zero.

Don't forget; a person that may seem prone to pessimism were once optimists, who now utilizes their accumulated wisdom of seeing the many who have been burned, to always expect and prep for the worst, but still hold out a little for a chance of the best.

It wouldnt make any sense at all for the range to not open this weekend. Each bench is well enough off from each other and people are constantly moving, not just getting a tan on a beach or whatever. I can see them setting limitations on the group size. For example, bringing a group or 4-6 tourist or whomever to share one bench wouldnt make much sense right now. Guess we will see what the range master says.

Thanks for the announcement brotha. Would love to hear a logical explanation as to why it doesnt qualify to open but qualifies to close among state parks. Which prob wont happen.

No prob and there will never be a logical explanation

Want to bet it will never re-open?
Here on the BI the trap/Skeet range is closed,
I'd bet it will not re-open.

Logic has nothing to do with this, sadly.

Maybe they're worried if they open the range, we'll call a Range Day and put up tents and shit and invite the public to shoot...

At least over here some of us can shoot on our own property without any neighbors complaining.
Couple days ago I heard a neighbor fire 4 shots at 0630, not the 50 to 100 I occasionally hear in the afternoon.
Must have been the damn pigs in his yard again.

We had a neighbor complain once about shooting on private property.
I had done some work on a Winchester model 94 for a Widow friend.
it wasn't registered.
It was her dead husbands rifle.
Gun was made in 1903 and was a Parker ranch rifle.
She did not want to sell it or I would have bought it in a second.
I had fired four rounds through it, into a pile of dirt.
Somebody called 911.
Police showed up and my wife convinced them
it was pig hunters across the gulch from us.
That is a property police tend not to want to go to.
They left.
We spread the word in our small community.
Somehow they got the message,
or they moved.

Heard the same report.  KHSC was in the same discussion as Hanauma Bay.  I would think Hanauma Bay would be way higher risk than KHSC.

The lack of a place to shoot truly grates on me.  I moved to the BI with the expectation of the range up toward Waikoloa being built.

Liberals killed it and now nothing, not going to drive 2 hours to MM16 to shoot.  Manuka was a pit.

One of the many reasons I am getting more serious about moving to Arizona.

The rural parts of the BI is the closest thing you can get to being in a free state.  Not so much in the more populated areas.

I’ve been there once since like elementary school. And that’s when I was dating a girl from Japan and had been wanting to go there. Otherwise, no interest in going to Hanauma.

I knew of a group of investors (local people) that were looking for property on the BI. One prospect was something like 500 acres. And a shooting range was in the plans for development. Haven’t heard from that group in a while tho.
