I went to the Honolulu Parks Department website, I watched the Youtube video, I STILL COULDN'T figure out where to make a KokoHead Shooting complex reservation.
Does ANY other park in Honolulu require a "reservation"?
If not, this could be considered discriminatory to the shooting community.
PLEASE, contact Mayor Caldwell and voice your displeasure.
http://www.honolulu.gov/mayor/contactthemayor/request-for-general-message-formAlso mention the (currently 12 week) wait to get a firearms permit, and the next 10 week wait to register it (before you can legally use it, otherwise it is an unregistered firearm)
(BTW, for all three visits to HPD, I was the only one there, and I was 30 min early)
I just did both, it was obviously designed as a "deterrent" to getting a firearm.
It is apparent that Honolulu doesn't want you to have a firearm (or be proficient with it)
Paul
P.S. anyone want to start a legal action against this "2A infringement"?
I'm in.
