The Quest for Peace and Justice Martin Luther King Jr. Nobel Lecture -- December 11, 1964

“Violence as a way of achieving racial justice is both impractical and immoral. I am not unmindful of the fact that violence often brings about momentary results. Nations have frequently won their independence in battle. But in spite of temporary victories, violence never brings permanent peace. It solves no social problem: it merely creates new and more complicated ones. Violence is impractical because it is a descending spiral ending in destruction for all. It is immoral because it seeks to humiliate the opponent rather than win his understanding: it seeks to annihilate rather than convert. Violence is immoral because it thrives on hatred rather than love. It destroys community and makes brotherhood impossible. It leaves society in monologue rather than dialogue. Violence ends up defeating itself. It creates bitterness in the survivors and brutality in the destroyers."

We need to do away with police unions.  Unions PREVENT the gov't from holding bad Cops accountable for their actions.
AGREED!

Yep. Just like how throwing a temper tantrum in the aisle of the toy section works. People have to move their carts around you and feel sorry for your mom that have to deal with your selfishness.

Violence only appears to work until the "rebels" threaten those who have the means, and willingness, to destroy them.

You don't recruit followers by looting and burning the stores where those people make a living.
The reasonable man adapts himself to the world;
the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

Undercover informant lying under oath to put innocent people in jail.

Interesting that no one ever does this with nurses and doctors even though they kill thousands by mistake every year and have straight up murdered people before too.

It has been well documented that licensed CCW holders are far less likely to commit a crime and are far more law abiding than your local police officer, no matter where you live.

That is because if you screw up,
you don't have the protections
Cops have.
You are responsible
and the entire weight of the government
will come down on you.
Too bad our local police
chiefs don't realize that.
