HIFICO Testimony needed PVM/JUD Hearing June 24th

Bastards are still slinging crap at us.  2nd hearing scheduled for the House PVM/JUD committees on June 24th.  Try and get your testimonies in by tomorrow (June 23rd) 3pm if can or else still turn it in late.

SB2635 Requires you to show your registration forms to purchase ammo in the designated calibers and restricts purchases and possession only to those listed on the form.

SB3054 $250 fine if you take firearms permanently out of state and don't tell the police within 5 days.

Yeah, all over the country fucking marxists/anarchists tearing down/defacing historical works of art, looting, burning buildings, beating people, taking over public property by force... with rarely any response from "law enforcement" at all.

And we're here "Oh, please, sirs, I ask on bended knee, would you, could you, in the graciousness of your all-knowing wisdom and supreme compassion, be so kind as to only make us low level felons if we give a few rounds of ammo to the person next to us at the range?"

Fuck that shit. How long are we going to be "polite" to these motherfucking assholes? How has "polite" worked out for us so far? How much "worse" could it be?

I hope people take notice that they are pushing these bills in light of other much more pressing issues in Hawaii.   :grrr:

I see they both moved forward. If you have multiple calibers for your gun then you have to get HPD to put it on your registration.
I’m becoming clinically undepressed and thinking about beginning it all.

Recap:
Both bills passed

But for the ammo one, there were a few questions brought up by the senators.  1 was asking about hunters.  Some hunters live 20 miles from the nearest place that sells ammo.  So they often send 1 person and that person picks up for the group.  She was told that they have to plan ahead.

Another question about individuals who teach the handgun safety class, this ammo bill doesn't exclude them.  The head chair was focused on high school students learning about firearms and not adults doing the required handgun safety class which has a live fire portion. The head chair stated that  if the gun is owned by an organization, then the law excludes the ammo requirement..  Brought up was many guns are owned by the individual instructor and not a business.  No response.

Also head chair brought up Diamond Head shooting and how this bill could have prevented it.  Cause you know when you steal someones big bore, hunting rifle, they don't keep ammo with it.  So the shooter would have had to gone out to buy ammo.

The letting HPD know if you permanently move out of state bill passed with no questions asked.  Only McDermmoit said oppose.

If not then it doesn't count) Brought up was many guns are owned by the individual instructor and not a business.  No response.

So now what? Where do they go from here?

So obviously I would recommend getting a stripped lower and have every caliber under the sun listed on the registration. We know that there are about 100+ calibers that will feed through the AR

with the overwhelming balance of testimony opposed, and the legislators still yet voting to pass, it's unfortunately obvious that our legislators have not a single shred of morals, scruples, or ethics.  They have no conscience.   None, zip, nada, zero.

But, we already knew that, right.  That Soros, Bloomtard money must be really good.  Fuckers!

I seriously doubt it's the money. These people are either 1. really that stupid that they can't figure out the consequences (no effect on crime; hardships for law-abiding gun owners) of all these moronic proposed laws, and/or 2. they don't care at all about anything related even tangentially to "public safety" and their overriding interest is in disarming the law-abiding citizens of this state, thus making us all less capable of self-defense against any and all predators (including armed agents of the state). Only unanswered question is: Now why would they want to do that?

Fuckers. Traitors.

You guys didnt have actual hopes that our testimony would matter right?  People still cant get through to the unemployment office after 3 months and meanwhile the legislators are working away on anti-gun bills, that's what they do.   That's the definition of a failed state.

And the majority of people in this state want to be ruled and told what to do.  One of my friends has been approached twice while at the Big Island "range" by some fudd that threatened to call the police to make sure they had their firearms registered for no other reason except harassment.  If you go to a gun range and harass gun owners in the name of the state you are the problem.

Bah... Doesnt matter.  The state ignores supreme court decisions so that is precedent for the residents to ignore the state.  Who cares what weird laws they come up with, they have already demonstrated that it is fine to ignore what ever laws you want to.  Just take the state's example and not comply.

11:01 AM HST update.

HB2744 - passed with amendments. Senator Kurt Fevella made it a point to bring up the issue with the "any parts" portion of the "Ghost Gun" bill to which Karl Rhoads claimed that anyone possessing or purchasing spare parts or replacement parts (including upgrades) "shouldnt be a problem alone". Which is contradictory to the VAGUE language in the bill anyway. So basically, as written, if signed into law, they can make up crap as they go along if they want to bust someone for buying a spring detent for their AR-15 ...

HB1902 - Magazine Ban was DEFERRED to JUNE 30TH as there appears to be issues with the portion about the entertainment industry using magazines for blanks for production. Too wide of a definition for Rhoads' liking. No word or any indications about the status of Grandfathering as added in Proposal 2.

HB2292- Taser Bill, passed with amendments.

Sorry, I don't have the tallies of who voted what, other than Kurt Fevella voted NO for all and Gabbard voted "with reservations" for HB2744.

Your seeing it wrong   Testimonies are votes.  They all care about votes.

We need 5k to 10k.  Work in progress.

How do we get 10K testimonies? That is the real problem. 100 opposing testimonies is nothing to them. Even when there are only a handful of supporting the bill, they don't care

Not sure what you mean by votes.  If we had 10k opposed they would automatically kill a bill?  Given that HMSA would not allow my healthcare related bill to be even introduced (a private company told the legislature to not even introduce my bill so they refused the introduce it) I cant imagine that these d-bags will do anything with even 10 million opposed votes.

Yep.  In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.

The Dem voters are never going to kick these people out of office, so any number of voters submitting opposing testimony is barely a blip on their radar.

Until the GOP is able to get more than 0-1 party member in the legislature, the Democrats are firewalled by the sheeple who only know to vote (D) every election cycle.

You can't threaten their power no matter how many voters show up to complain unless there's a viable challenger to their office.
The reasonable man adapts himself to the world;
the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.
