Oahu Mafia Federal Indictments
« on: July 15, 2020, 08:18:15 PM »
The Miske gang have been mostly rounded up on charges that carry a possible death penalty sentence. Just a reminder that these people were tied in with the Kealohas and other corrupt officers at HPD, and were able to function with impunity for over a decade with help from inside the department.

The fact that HPD is still allowed to violate our concealed carry rights while continuing to insist that we are safer when disarmed feels like more of an outrage every day.

I wonder by how much time former Police Chief Kealoha was able to reduce his current and future sentencing?

The timing of this bust seems to suggest they may be related.

Used to work across the street from these crumbs many years ago. We all suspected they were dirty. Good riddance.

Is this the workings of Trump's crackdown on organized crime?

Thug mafia boss and his crew hopefully never see the light of day again.

From what I heard on the streets.  There are multiple people that have gone missing that have been associated with Miske.  Former business partner is one of them. Get you  ready.  It’s gonna get interesting.  A lot of poeple have been paid off by Miske.  The kealoha’s were tied to him.  I’m sure a lot of other politicians and some of Hawaii finest are running scared.  Mufi should be one of them... :geekdanc:

The FBI started poking into the Kealoha mailbox story and soon realized that the state is so infested with corruption that they have to chip away at it slowly to ensure continuity of government. If they arrested everyone there would also be a huge backlog in federal court, so instead they are taking their time meticulously picking their way through the cobwebs. There will be many, many more indictments before the house cleaning starts to wind down.

A good question to ask is why they had to fly in so many officers from Quantico to conduct the raids? They do not seem to trust our local law enforcement very much.

Now we have to nervously wait to see if they get bail on Tuesday. If they do it would be a good idea for everyone formerly associated with them to adequately protect themselves when gym bags full of cash exchange hands and the rat hunt begins.

Ironically a retired Hilo detective also got an indictment for witness intimidation today.

First guy to come forward after the arrests. Hopefully the judge rejects bail and some other people get brave enough to step up to help put these guys away for a long long time.

Again, does this relate to Trump's war on corruption?

Good question. I was not aware of a Trump war on corruption though. Do you have sources?

No, this is kealoha's plea bargaining.
Timing is everything

Looks like Keith Kaneshiro might be connected to this also.

Katherine Kealoha was asked by her superior, Roger Lau, to notify Officer Spiker to ‘stand down,’ which she did.”

Roger Lau is the Special Assistant to the Honolulu Prosecuting Attorney, Keith Kaneshiro, who has been on leave for more than a year after receiving a target letter from the Department of Justice in connection with the Kealoha investigation.

It's starting to look like this can of worms was opened by the investigation into the Kealohas.

I'm still curious whether or not the Kealoha's are using their knowledge of this criminal enterprise as leverage for a plea deal.

Relocation.

New Identities.

No prison time.

Etc.
