You right, back to the Kyle topic.
A lot of people are harping on this kid because he was underage and they are quoting open carry laws in Wisconsin. Was he open carrying though? From what I understand he was protecting a buddies business. Isn’t a business an extension of the home? I mean if my little brother was carrying a rifle in my house that would be legal right? Seems he was chased off of the friends property and he carried his rifle with him to protect himself, is that considered open carrying?
I really want tho kid to be let off, I believe America needs more young men like him.
So I'm trying to understand the motivation of Kyle Rittenhouse to pack his weapon and go protect properties and businesses in another state. Did he have a personal interest in protecting property in Kenosha? He was protecting a buddy's property? Where can I read about this? I've only read about him acting on his own, not belonging to any militia group in the area.
Another area of my concern is he was reported milling in and out of the crowds in the streets at times. Why didn't he station himself at the property(s) that he was concerned about protecting?
I also just read here that he was making a sort of sign that they use when these kids play those war type computer games. Yeah I'm an old guy and don't understand these computer sign things. But the worrisome part is he making those gestures as if what he just did was just a game like the ones he plays on the computer. He just killed 2 people and he makes like its part of the game. WTF.
Anyway, I'm 100% all in for protecting life and property during these riots against these fuckers who use the cause as an excuse to pilfer and loot. But to act on your own trying to provide medical care yet carrying a deadly weapon and NOT having anyone to watch your back is dangerous. Lots of loonies and crazies out there that can grab your weapon while you are trying to help someone who is hurt.
Armed and organized militias working under supervision of law enforcement can work. But lone individuals, no matter how good the intent is dangerous.
One other thing that bothers me is at least 2 videographers interviewed him and mentioned that they thought it was odd that this young kid was walking around and not affiliated with any militia or organization. I would think that would raise a red flag and should be at least reported to police but I wonder if they let it go and watched the kid closely, knowing the potential of something like this happening. I say this because of the tons of video material available when the shit hit the fan. Like those guys were waiting for the train wreck.
Anyway, tragic and a catalyst for other young computer game rambos to follow suit in the effort to protect life and property.
My 2 cents.
