I'm with G on this one. I have a Sierra, Hornady and Lyman Manual. I also have the "Complete Reloading Manual for .XXX Cartridge". These are caliber specific manuals and I have one for each cartridge I reload. The reason I have these is that they include the data from the powder manufacturers as well as the bullet manufacturers all at your fingertips. Plus I occasionally bring my laptop out to the garage if I am looking stuff up. Also, some manufacturers of bullets don't publicize their loading data. Berger Bullets comes to mind. So I e-mailed them and they sent me their data as well.

If you're just starting out and don't want to buy a manual, Hodgdon has a good online reloading data center.

My go-to manual is Hodgdon's since it lists all the powders I have easy access to.

I cross reference with Lyman's since it has better cast bullet data. I use Lee tumble lube dies so the bullets aren't exactly the same but it gets me in the ballpark.

Like GZ and Inspector, if I'm using a certain brand of bullets I try to use that brand manual.  If I'm using a generic brand that doesn't have a manual, I try and research to see what bullet it is closest to.  Usually places like montana gold have bullets that are similar to a name brand.  I use a lot of Hornady bullets, so most of my loads were based on either the Hornady or Lyman book.

I use Sierra and Hornady manuals. The Lyman reloading manual has a lot of reloading info that is not limited to a single bullet brand.
