Have nothing good about Fox lately,   I just got sick of the TV thing once finding online sources were easier to read and think about.

Just not a TV person.

I've sworn off all cable and network TV news.  I "cut the cord" years ago, so all my news comes from sources that I select, not those that my cable provider would offer.

One reason I like Tim Pool is his selection of sources to validate the things he talks about.  Makes my life easier, in that he's done the work for me -- at least to a point where I can do more research based on his information.

the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.

I come here to 2a when I get confused about all the news crap out there.  After hanging out here for a while I end up more confused, lol!

Just kidding...... ;)

I like all the information and opinions shared here on the forum.  Some of the stuff you guys share I don't think I would have found it on my own. :shaka:

I read the Daily Wire, National Review, Wall Street Journal and the NYTimes. Between those 4 I find I get all sides of a particular subject and I make up my mind as to what the truth is. While I find the WSJ and NR are usually biased one way or the other and can be biased either way they usually provide a very in depth look into most subjects. So I get more perspective than just the right or left side. The NYTimes are 99% biased in one direction only. However, they occasionally tell the truth. So I find the Daily Wire the most unbiased most of the time. Their opinions are usually based in fact and logical thinking. The writers range anywhere from Libertarian to sarcasm. The thing I like about them is that they have no problem calling out Trump when he says/does something wrong. And they truly call out the Democrats and Republicans when they are wrong/lying. JMHO

People say Fox News leans more right, and CNN leans more left.

I've been very wary of news for a while now so I was wondering if there are other media outlets out there that are not as biased either way.  There is talk that radio news coverage is more trustworthy and that social media is the outright worst.

What news outlets do you trust to get the most accurate news coverage?

I listen to the Armstrong & Getty show which is a radio broadcast show in California. They certainly lean right however the way they discuss news stories rather helps because they often try to get both sides and go over the issues. They are also friggen hilarious.

There is an NPR show I listen on podcast which is also quite good. It is called Left, Right, and Center. The center I would say leans left a little bit moderates fairly evenly. Every show they have someone on the left and on the right come on and they discuss the political news of the week. The great part is in one show I will get 2-3 different takes on a news event and I get to hear it from both sides.

I do think unbiased news outlets do exist I just don't know them well enough to say for certain. But what I do try to do is just get news from a variety of sources and the bigger the story the more sources I will read on the story to get the best understanding.

Good information.  Thanks everybody! :shaka:

I kinda figured an unbiased news source is sort of a pipe dream.

The general consensus here is to read news from a variety of news outlets.  I actually was doing this but found on this thread new sources I did not know about.  And that will help me a lot.

Gone are the days of Walter Cronkite.  I trusted him but wonder now if he was biased....... :-\
