Hey, I hate to break it to y'all, but... it's all over. Biden won the debate, Biden has substantial leads in all the polls that matter, including in the necessary electoral college must-win swing states. It says so right here:

https://www.cnbc.com/2020/10/01/biden-leads-polls-voters-say-he-beat-trump-in-first-debate.html

Biden is still leading in the polls, and voters say he won his first debate against Trump

The first scientific polls to ask who won the debate Tuesday night show Biden coming out on top.

[and on and on and on...]

This article indicates it's really all over, Biden is a shoe-in... Trump might as well concede right now...

I love reading that bullshit on CNBC... it's just the MSNBC "financial news" arm of the marxist media... they tell you everything about the poll except how many respondents were registered Republicans and how many were Democrats... I wonder why they would leave that information out?  :wtf: smh.

I watched the first 40 mins or so.  Lots of interrupting each other, but the parts that I saw wasn't the "complete shit show" that I saw on many social media feeds after is was done.

What I did notice is that Biden was seemingly flustered and when that happened, what I believe is his true character comes out.  When he got flustered, I felt that he reverted to a wannabe tough guy who is used to always getting his way by intimidation.  A couple of times, Biden sort of was like "come on man, I'll. . . " then awkward pause where he seems to have caught himself, then "just shut up".  Sort of like when he was confronted by the blue collar guy about firearms.  True nature coming out, no matter how his handlers try to prepare him.

Another thing I noticed was Biden appealing to emotional pleas to counter data and facts.  Again, Biden seemed to have been coached on certain things.  Even a few times, Wallace caught him and was like "that's not the question".

To clarify, I don't care for Trump, but like a lot of what he has done for this country.  Is he "Presidential"?  I think he could act better, but it's not his actions that matter, at least to me.  It's the results.  But after all of that, Biden is 100000% worse.  I don't see any positives in Biden and I would bet that well over half of the people that support Biden do so just because of their irrational hate for Trump, while not knowing anything about what Biden would do for America.

I also don't like Trump.  Not the way he handles himself.  But I do like the results he has achieved so far and I believe that is what counts.  I also believe that Biden will not do a good job for this country.  Well, not the way I envision my country to be.

It would be wonderful if we can have everything but we all know that's not how life works.  We have to choose between 2 men who obviously have personality flaws, shortcomings, and questionable pasts.

Results are what everyone should be looking at.  For Trump we can look back at his past 4 years and review what he has achieved.

For Biden we can look at his performance as a VP and also his decades as a public servant.

For me personally I agree when Trump said "I've done more in 42 months than what you have done in 42 years".  Or something like that.  It speaks volumes to me.

Exactly!  I wish Trump stuck to those facts.  At least in the time that I was watching, every time Trump brought up effectiveness of the last 42 months, Biden seemed to counter with what in effect was "well, you're a bad, bad, man".  When asked how Biden would have done better, Biden's response was "think about what you want for your children".  All emotional type of stuff that we've become used to seeing on social media to go viral.  Sadly, there will be many that will be energized and motivated by that type of emotional appeal.  I just hope that there are enough rational folks that see right though Biden. . .

And when Biden was asked about how he "won" the Dem nomination.  He started to trash Bernie. . .   True colors. . .

Real question:  Do you want someone like Trump in a room with Putin, Kim Jung Un, Xi Jinping, or the entire collection of EU leaders, or would you rather have someone like Biden?

IMO, Trump is a very diplomatic person behind closed doors when the situation calls for it.  But, when the tension rises, he doesn't sugar coat it.

Biden, on the other hand, will smile, laugh, and order another pallet of cash to be delivered to Iran.  If he gets into a debate with a world leader, is Chris Wallace going to be there to save him ..... or more accurately, "us"?

The only way Joe seems to grow a spine is when a country starts investigating his son's corruption.  Maybe Trump should have Putin hire Hunter.  Then let's see how tough Biden talks about Russia.

LOL WHAT.  Did you just say you rather have someone who shouts down everyone else for diplomacy?  I give up, you are way too far right or in love with trump to see anything objectively.  You do know Chris is team fox ( aka right leaning news).  Not saying Biden would do well but he might actually listen to experts. And believes in science.  Plenty of wrong with him don't take me wrong but so does camp Trump.  TBH if I had the choice I would love a "[ ] None of the above" option.

There you go again -- reading what I NEVER SAID.

If you need further explanation, what I said was, I'm tired of politicians like Biden getting us into endless wars, using our wealth to cozy up to our enemies, and the corruption that goes along with all that power.

Trump is doing what is in the interest of the NATION, not his son's income.  Given that, I want a fighter, not a "diplomat" who negotiates away any advantage the US had when dealing with those enemies.

So when asked about white supremacy, they also added in the militia.  The lefts plan to label a militia as WS, then forcing an edit or removal of the 2a because it does state militia in it.  Anyone else caught that?  IDK when being part of a militia was on the same level as the KKK.

They already labeled Boogaloo boys as WS and Proud Boys.  Both are not WS at all.

Pretty much the same reason not to vote for Bernie.  He got screwed of the DNC nomination by Clinton bailing out the DNC.  He never said shit about it.  So people want a leader to stand up for the USA, but can't even stand up for himself.

:wtf:
What does that supposedly mean? Are you really that stupid? Donna Brazille (twice acting chair of the Democratic National Committee... the person who gave the questions ahead to Hillary Clinton) works for Fox. Juan Williams (formerly NPR) works for Fox. Jessica Tarlov (former Democratic strategist with Douglas Schoen, LLC) works for Fox. Sheppard Smith (obvious hard leftie) formerly worked for Fox. Marie Harf (former spokesperson for Obama's State Department) works for Fox. Etc.

Working for Fox means nothing. And if you had a scintilla of functioning gray matter you'd have known that for years Wallace (like his father) has been shilling for the left. Many of his questions and terminology and phrasing during the debate were obviously framed by leftist viewpoints. smh.

NBA player Hassan Whiteside tweets "Fuck America, I'm moving to Hawaii" 😂

Sep 30th, 2020

This was during the debate last night:

What can you even say?

I mean what can you even say?

* * * * *
Although in one sense he's on the right track: Hawaii, as currently a one party state dominated at every level for every branch of government and even most private enterprise by Democrats, is likely the least American of all the states.

But I wonder if he knows that once here he won't be able to lawfully carry a firearm outside his home for self-defense? Maybe the "lawfully" part doesn't matter to him?

Seems to want to continually reinforce the perception of a kid that just wants to argue for the sake of arguing.  I stopped reading anything the child posts, but reading y'all replies makes it clear.

Eventually, this will come down to:

"I got the last word!"
"I win!!!"

99% of the time I refrain... but this was one of those 1%s that was just too stupid... and I couldn't help myself. I'll try to get back on the wagon.  :shaka:

If I'm not mistaken, only one of the debate participants is in the WWE Hall of Fame.

He didn't really do good or bad.  He got some things right and didnt get baited by trump, he also fucked up some facts.   The usual.   Trump just did bad.

I'm glad Joe "got some things right."

That's a mighty high bar you've set for him!

Did Joe make a convincing argument for any of his administration's policies?  Do you wonder why he's not about to commit to not packing the Supreme Court with Liberal Activist judges?  And why he won't say if he supports doing away with the filibuster rules?

He's got over 45 years in government (and, no, those are not Dog Years!).  He is on record more than once with positions on these issues, but now, all of a sudden, his positions are closely held secrets.

He cries for Trump to release tax returns, something that affects nobody but Trump and his 500 businesses.  Yet Joe refuses to make public his stances on issues that absolutely impact the lives of Americans going forward.

Hopefully, people are tuning in and getting educated.

Here's a hint for anyone who's lost.

The Supreme Court has had 9 justices for 151 years.  We added judges as the number of states increased.  Since the 1870s, 19 has served us well.

If the Dems control the House, the Senate and the Presidency, they could add, let's say, 4 more seats (9 + 4 = 13 for the mathematically disadvantaged).

Let's say of the 9 current judges, only 3 are Liberal-leaning activists, 5 are Conservative/Constitutionalist leaning, and 1 swings one way or another depending on the case.

Adding 4 more Liberal Activists means we would have 7 of those judges vs. 6 others regardless of the leaning of the swing vote.

And yes, they would be Liberal Activists, because the Dem President would nominate them (Biden), and the Dem Senate Majority would confirm them.  If they create new seats, they also create new vacancies to fill.  How convenient, huh?

Since these seats are lifetime appointments, the only way to fix it would be for the GOP to win the 3 branches again and overturn the 4 new seats.

Is it any wonder that Joe "I'm a moderate" Biden is fighting the calls to name his justices and declare whether stacking the court would be on his agenda?  Imagine Corey Booker, Adam Schiff and 9th Circus judges being nominated.
