Green would take away your guns...

Never said ours is better don't like him either.  I just pointed out I think its stupid to be in government of a state reaching record levels of infections and deaths and be anti mask/covid safety measures.  And you know how I feel about government and religion combining.

Put the Bible down?

Why does a book frighten you so?  Is it because you want to force YOUR ideas on everyone, and a person of faith and conviction is less likely to adopt your world view and opinions?

Nobody is holding a gun to your head demanding you pick up a Bible, Koran or Torah.  How about you not demand anyone else put down their Bible, Koran or Torah?

Hypocrite.

Its about government and separation of religion, if you represent the government don't flaunt religion.  Simple as that.  If she was posting in a private or personal sense not as a governmental position/advocacy, I would have no problem with it.  Stop combining government and religion.   Our forefathers didn't want that.

At this point, you're trolling and along with all your other post.  The way trolls usually work is if people don't know who is on the other end.

I know you personally, along with others on the forum and agreed to meet republicans here for some discussion.  I am not a keyboard warrior troll.  I just believe what I believe and call it out.

Death rate is still less than 1% (.98%).

Let's review:

AGE          #DEAD
------          -----------
  0-9               0
10-19             0
20-29             0
30-39             0
40-49             1
50-59             0
60-69             3
70-79             4
80-89+           10
----------------------------
TOTAL         18

No mention of underlying health condition or chronic problems.  55,230 confirmed cases, plus 7,777 suspected cases.  An estimated 29,195 have recovered...so far.

COVID-19 is not a death sentence.  If COVID-19 did not exist, how many of these people would be dead anyway just from old age or other health problems or diseases?  Someone over 80 with the regular flu would be at risk of dying, too.  Many develop pneumonia after contracting the flu.  in short, what's the statistical death rate of people in those age groups from non-COVID-related causes?  Is COVID driving that rate up, or is it merely replacing what would have killed them anyway?

Death is a part of life.  Nobody knows when or how it'll happen, but it will inevitably happen to us all.

Even OMIGOD, who thinks technology will grant him life everlasting.

1% is still 1% advocating the ignorance of covid and simple measures that protect people is bad.   If you can avoid a death by wearing a mask or social distancing, its worth it.

This virus has helped green when he runs for Gov later.  Most HI people are stupid and will vote for him.  He is doing what a real doctor should be doing.  So can we expect any less?  Also he really isn't doing much, he's just letting us know the numbers which anyone with logic can do.  The real dr. making the recommendations is the epidemiologist, Char.

I hope not, I don't support him but sadly not sure what other viable candidates are there.

Here is our LT Gov who tells everyone to wear a mask.

He thinks he got covid while in the 1 hour car ride from the airport to the hospital. Was he not and no one else in the car wearing a mask?

I disagree with that,  One is a constitutional right,  one isn't.
A gun in the ownership of a responsible person has 0% chance for unintended death.
A person with covid does not have a 0% chance to give someone else covid, that percentage lowers by practicing safe practices.

Yeah, grabbing reservations just interfere's with the free exercise of the same Constitutional right.

Where the hell do you get your "facts"?  You must have a lifetime supply of ExLax.

Responsible people NEVER EVER EVER have unintended deaths?

"Responsible" and "Perfect" are not synonyms.

Maybe people helping other Americans by wearing a simple cloth over their face or don't get too close to others is too much to ask.  I just belive as all Americans we should help each other out.  If it's reasonable.  Just like how in war time there's rations of gas and everyone pitches in.

he feels that masks work...

That's when people started to ignore safety measures and go out in groups and party.   I witnessed daily during that spike people not wearing masks and being 1 foot apart in massive beach gatherings. I can only imagine what happened in homes etc.

viral spread in an outdoor setting especially out in sunlight is very low.

on a similar note, I'll be contacting legislators to mandate helmet wearing while driving all vehicles...because if 1%  you know the thing...

You got me, lol didn't elaborate "good".  While ours is a dumbass and caught covid and didn't wear masks always, at least he advocated for it.  Tried to believe in science and doesn't appear to "shove" religion and government tropes.  He is a dumbass on guns though.  If only I could frankinstin a bunch of different lt governors together to make one good one.

Quote
Lt. Gov Green had very mild symptoms of the virus. He said he felt fatigued and
had a slight cough for a day or two, but never sought medical treatment for the
disease.
