When the Federal constitution was adopted they included a thing called the Electoral college.
That was to protect the country folk from large cities dominating the rural areas.
In America most all states don't have such a protection.
So Honolulu runs Hawaii.
Phoenix and Tucson runs Arizona.
Los Angeles and San Francisco run CA.
Seattle runs WA state.
Portland runs OR.
You get the picture?
Every state has this problem.
Big cities attract people that really aren't
self sufficient, independent types.
That is why they are Democrats.

I have a solution, but it isn't pretty.
I'm an old man and that will be a war I probably
won't fight, but I will tell my Grandson
what needs to be done.
Aloha.

Yes, I am. My wife even cried the next day. She is terrified that Biden is going to ruin everything we have spent the last 28 years working together for. I am afraid she could be right

AZ was purple when I moved here. I knew it before I moved. I can’t run away from every fight. It seems that southern AZ (Phoenix and surrounding area) has turned blue. And since the majority of the state’s population is there I am afraid they are going to control the electorate at least for the time being. I live in Northern AZ in a very rural area. Rural AZ is very Red. We obviously don’t have the votes to overcome the Liberals in Southern AZ any more. It is a shame. But I will stay and fight and do whatever I can within my power. AZ is worth fighting for.

On a brighter note we have “SharpieGate”. If true it may be enough for Trump lawyers to prove voter fraud. Also, all the votes that have not been counted here in AZ are from very red areas like the area I live in. So there is still a chance however slight.

I spent 2 1/2 hours in line with my wife so she could vote in person because she doesn’t trust the mail. I voted absentee ballot and hand delivered my ballot. After 2 1/2 hours in line I think she is going to do the same the next election.

Was worried about you and the missus. Even though the outlook is bleak, keep the faith and I agree that AZ is worth fighting for as is our country. I don’t know what the future is going to be like but we here have got your 6 always. We will all keep the faith. Be happy, be safe and most of all, no worries!

Thanks! I appreciate the kind words. Everyone here who moves from CA says they are not the Liberal Californian’s. But I have a feeling, like Trump supporters, they don’t want to say who they really support. It got so bad on FB that I had to leave almost all the Prescott FB pages because the Liberals are taking them over. And believe me, they know how to suppress people. I was getting stressed just watching every conversation devolve into Trump hatred. The bickering and arguing and thread hijacking is so bad I couldn’t take it. Now, all I read on FB is Prescott pages that don’t allow politics and reloading pages and my family page. I will join a political action type group and see if I can be a part of taking back AZ.

Actually, I am surprised this thread and user still exists as the OP is one of those scammers and he started this thread. Mods? (Crickets)

It does look bleak. It appears that either Trump pissed off enough people that a lot of them voted against him instead of voting for Biden or someone else. Or, the Democrats are actually getting away with stealing this election or both. I am not confident in lawyers being able to sway SCOTUS about voter fraud. There has to be massive amounts of it and there has to be absolute proof. And I’m not sure it is there this time. We’ll see as the evidence comes out.

Was there election fraud?  Of course there was.

However, Trump's three, of his many biggest mistakes, prior to going into 2020 were:

1.  Failure to drain the swap, especially those around him that he selected to serve, in his cabinet.  No one wants to talk about it, but I would not be surprised to find that many, of those so-called Republicans and RINOS, might have even conspired against him, in this election.

2.  Clean-up the presidential electoral process, like he said he was going to do back in 2016, which, obviously, he did not.

3.  Take Covid-19 more seriously, whether he personally believed in it or not.  Covid-19 has disproportionately devastated much, of the minority populations, in the US.  His lackluster response to Covid-19; disagreements with the Fauci and the CDC; and his personal flaunting, of not wearing masks, even though supposedly contracting and recovering Covid-19 himself; probably cost him a great number, of those democratic voters, that supported him in 2016.

Loosing traditionally Blue or Swing States that supported him in 2016 is not that hard to understand; election fraud, notwithstanding.

However, loosing a Red State is something the Trump camp could not afford and is unforgivable.

I agree with #1 except I think you are absolutely correct in the beginning and even into his second and third year. But I am not aware of any swamp creatures currently in his cabinet. I thought he had finally gotten rid of them all. Do you have any names of swamp creatures still in his cabinet?

As far as #2 is concerned, this is one of the complaints I have with all presidential candidates, not just Trump. They make promises that there is no way they can keep them. We have the constitution and we have the states who control the electoral processes. How is he going to change any of those things which he has no influence or control over? He can’t. He can’t even sign an executive order to change the constitution or change the way the states handle their electoral processes. So those that don’t understand the electoral process actually believe he can do anything about it. And they expect him to keep his word? Politicians who make promises that they actually can keep are non existent.

I also agree with #3 for some of the same reasons and some other reasons. I really think the naive Millennials and others who believe in science that lies to them really needed more and better leadership from him. He assigned Pence to head up the whole Pandemic thing and he ended up trying to control instead of letting Pence do his job. He took over the daily press conferences that Pence should have been heading up. If he was smart he should have let Pence handle the whole Pandemic and then when the press asked him questions he would have been able to just defer to Pence. He would have taken credit for the job and leadership Pence would have provided and then taken credit for being such a great leader. Pence has enough experience than to know to get into petty fights with Fauci and would have had real scientists to provide technical answers to the public that they want to hear. He really blew it in the leadership department with COVID IMHO.

I will also add that he pissed off a lot of people (especially Millennials who think with their feelings instead of logic. And I think a lot of them who couldn’t get over being offended could not look past their hurt feelings and saw that he is actually not a bad president. He got so many things accomplished in his first term that were so good for the country. But feelings rule over logic with the younger folk and instead of voting for Trump I believe they voted against him. Whether they voted for Biden or another candidate they allowed their feelings to control their vote and I blame Trump for all his stupid Tweets and statements. I can get over stupid when I see great accomplishments. But some younger folk can’t get over their feelings and vote accordingly.

Now we know where all the rich liberals fleeing California ended up

Actually I heard many of them went to Nevada, where property was dirt cheap (literally, in the desert dirt).
