The problem recently, the way I see it, is that some if this back and forth goes on way too long derailing the treads. Or at least making them no longer interesting.

When I poke at Flapp I point out his hypocrisy or error.
He replies with diversion tactics.
I call him on it and sometimes how he’s wrong. (Sometimes with a slight)
He throws back an insult, sometimes with a know-it-all air of arrogance.
Game over. Thread continues.
4 posts max combined.
Gotta let Flapp have last word though.

Too many threads guys chasing the rabbit down the hole into the darkness.
Get in, get out, let the thread topic continue in meaningful discussion.

I do enjoy PunaP and Inspectors responses though as they tend to lower the hammer.
And if OF is popping you.....Fawk. You deserve it.

Since most of your post is aimed directly at me, I'll respond.

I leave you hanging without a reply very often.  In fact, I don't respond to most of your stupid trolling
attempts, because you're not worth it.  Most on here see you exactly for what you are.

You post a personal opinion, a troll attempt, or a "feeling".  Not much of what you post adds anything of
substance.  You just pile-on to what other people post, as if a "me too" adds weight or clarity.

If you could stop trolling me, you'd cut your monthly post count in half or more.  Maybe you'd have
more time to actually share something useful -- useful to someone else other than your ego.

How would you know ?
And I hope so because I’ve personally met a lot of them.

AieaHound and I have met.  I've met others, too.

For him to say, "Unlike you keyboard wizard behind the curtain." is a complete lie.

But, that's how he rolls.  As long as he gets to claim he made some mythical point, the facts are irrelevant.

Yeah. I met him.
Gave him a great deal on a Ruger SP101 3” revolver and he wanted to negotiate it even cheaper at time of sale.
Although he was about 3 user names back on this forum at the time. (Never answers why he had to change his user name 3 times. He’s on his 4th)
I’m violating my own rule....but that was 4 posts combined before this one.  :geekdanc:
Over and out.

P.S. this one might go six because Flapp usually needs the last word.

I'm guessing you are talking about me.  Ive reached out to you to meet in real life because you didn't believe that I live here or own guns.  You make me out to be the boogeyman, just because I have different views than you.   The gun community doesn't mean more echo chambers like the liberals.  People of different thoughts and opinions can like guns.  It's not a requirement to be a republican to be a gun owner.  You don't have to be religious or be prolife.  Anyone can support 2a.  My opinion remains that the best way to keep gun rights is to have people of all types of beliefs and opinions join the gun support movement.

People can be friends even if they don't agree politically. My family and friends all have different political leanings but that doesn't stop us from getting along or having conversations.  Everyone is unique there's no two people here who have the exact opinions.

There is always hope.  I am the one who says that the most.  The senate is key to saving 2a rights.  Get over Trump and move on.  Don't make people doubt everything and our government that's what Russia and Iran want.  If there is proof of corruption,  move on it.  If not don't make conspiracy theories.

I will attend 2a events like in the past when time and my job permits I support the gun movement.  But life is not only about guns.  So forgive me if I value other things too.

Phew, it must be you then. I thought he could be talking about me. Hehe j/k

This refers to a thought that a member has about if someone is guilty or not that was mentioned hundreds of post ago.

It was sarcasm on my part, based on beliefs OMIGOD posted.

Actually, it's been much more pleasant now since you found something else to use your time for.  Did you discover what your Special Purpose is for?   :geekdanc:

I'd say we miss you, but I don't want to be hit by OMIGOD again with accusations of, "Fake News!!"

Not really sure what's going on here and just read the 1st page.

Our power comes from our numbers   Numbers means votes.  Politicians need votes.  The problem with the 2a movement, and others in general, is we are not focused on what we need to do.

We need to be focused on gun rights and work together on what we can agree on.  And have good discussions on things we don't agree on.  What I see is people on the same side get torn up on other stuff  and push people away.  Member of the democratic party?  Go away.  Like the NRA?  Go away.  Skeet and trap shooters are snobs?  Go away.  For background checks?  Go away.  Pretty soon you're all alone.  You can only muster up dozens of supporters when you need thousands to win.

We also need see dissenting views and discuss them instead of being one big group that thinks alike.  Thats how we learn and adapt to be better.

We spend so much resources on flaming others, conspiracies, and other stuff but spend very little resources on doing effective things to win.

1000% this is exactly what I am saying but many here are against that.   To survive we must expand. Adapt to the new generations.  You can support abortion or climate change and guns. They are not mutually exclusive.  There are not enough hard-core Republicans to keep 2a rights alone.

On the hand there are almost always a few individuals who want to suck all the energy out of the room and turn people against each other saying stuff like "it doesnt matter we are never going to win/Im just going to move away/we should compromise/nothing ever changes/etc".  They are like energy vampires or the college kid in a lecture hall who yawns loudly while everyone else is trying to focus. We made huge gains in participation last year and stopped some bills that would have cruised through after two cops got murdered and HPD was riding high on the sympathy wave. Not easy to prove, but my impression is if not for the people here coming together we would all have mags buried in the backyard now.
Stop blaming lazy people. We didn’t do anything.

If you respected ANYONE on this forum, you'd stop your blatant childish trolling completely.

It's not funny, and it doesn't contribute one iota to the conversations.
