Or "they" got something on you and now coerced to work for them.

Isn't that how most of the CIs get recruited?

More like you create fantasies that I have to somehow disprove.   I am getting tired of it so just calling it a conspiracy theory with no evidence is easier. Maybe I am not the best judge, but I know no way in hell I would do that much effort.

The question is, why do you feel the NEED to address any of my comments, since you admit you have no evidence disproving them?

Obsession?  Or quota?

I also  see you do this often:  the comment started off about "conspiracy" and ended with "tell me what party I should belong to."

Where did that detour happen?  WTF does either have to do with the other?

Typical tactic of someone deflecting from a topic that makes them nervous and would rather not even discuss.

Because the whole point of this is that because I don't support trump and call out shit, I am some how some democrat spy.  They are literally linked by OP.   I named all my values, its roughly split democrat and republican.  If you call me a troll because I don't express only republican views I will repute that.  I am proud of what I believe in and I will not bow down to peer pressure to think a certain way.  I will never believe all republican values unless their values change to match mine.  I will never believe democrats for the same thing.  I'm not liberal,  I think trump did great on immigration.  Kick all the illegals out, was disappointed he didn't do more on that.  I think socialism is bad and I would lessen welfare.  We should let all the homeless or druggies wither away to their own choices and not prop them up to continue their sad lives.  Give them chances and opportunities but don't take care of them.

Just because you talk out of your ass and post Democrat/Socialist talking points as your own opinion in no way indicates you're here to disrupt.

Where in the HELL did you get that from?

Is this the Illegal Immigration thread?

Is this the Trump thread?

Is this the Homelessness thread?

Is this the Legalized Drug thread?

For you, it never seems to matter WHICH thread you're posting to.  Hijacking is your "thing", and no amount of effort is going to get you  to stop.

That's pretty obvious.  You want to derail every thread here and cause disruption.

Having democratic talking points when believing in some democrat values?  The horror.  Impossible.  Does that mean I am a republican if I post anything 2a?

This is a thread on how I am a "troll" because I am a democrat.  I am listing reasons why I am not a democrat.  Is everything  off topic to you when you don't say it?

oh, was this about being a troll, or about party affiliation?  I'm confused now.

Nothing you listed matters.  It's all just you typing words.  Without trust, nothing you say can be taken seriously.

That's true, that's why I want to be part of the community to build trust.  Willing to meet anyone here.  I'm here for the long haul.  Don't think I will ever not be a gun supporter and activist.  I believe what I believe and preach what I believe.  You do the same we just happen to believe different things.  Doesn't mean we can't all be friends and get along.  I argue with friends all the time.  Everyone has opinions.  Not everyone is a spy, or a troll or a non believer.  People come from all walks of life and with all kind of opinions.  We all here just happen to share one in common, the love of 2a. We can have nothing else in common but 2a and that's fine.

Omnigun, I think in your heart you really think you are trying to be an asset here by bringing in a different perspective for a different generation into the 2a efforts.

I don’t really know you personally so I am not trying to attack you on a personal level and I may be wrong about who you are.  If I am, please excuse me and know that I am trying to understand you and give you the benefit of the doubt.

Know that I’m trying to see things from your perspective and don’t think you are intentionally trying to undermine the 2a community, but I think you are a bit misguided and hope you would listen to what I have to say.

Let me give you a piece of advise, take it for what it’s worth.

Just because you are in the IT field and people come to you asking you to solve their IT problems, it doesn’t mean that you know it all and have to correct everyone on this forum related to things not IT related, like politics, law, religion, etc.

Maybe you think that playing devils advocate is your role and it’s ok to have a little bit of that. You think (rightfully or wrongfully) that you have to speak up at each point and challenge everything that does not align with your beliefs in the same way EEF and Flapp_Jackson do (sorry FJ, didn’t mean to lump you in with the 2, just pointing out a behavior).

There are a lot of things you don’t know.  You have been mistaken many times here and to your credit, you admit that you’re wrong and adjust your views and stances based on those correction.

It might benefit you to learn from this and think first before you speak.

Speak less, listen more, contemplate and try to understand what people are trying to say, before saying the first thing that comes to your mind.

You as a millennial are born as a product of your time and it’s certainly quite a different time.  You try to discuss ideas in a very impartial way without realizing you are stepping on many people’s feet with the broad stokes and generalizations you state.

We are all not going to agree on the same things.

If you’re really here to learn and want to be accepted by the Hawaii gun community, you can ask questions respectfully and contemplate things as to why other people have different views than you and why you may be wrong in your beliefs.

As human beings, we all have equal value in the eyes of our Creator, but not everyone's opinion have equal value.

Instead of replying to every post that you don’t agree with, holding your tongue and that maybe the best thing you can do is to listen first.

Jl808 shares some words of wisdom.

Was along the lines of what I was going to post. I don’t think OG is some sort of mole/troll. To me, he is a dangerous level of “knowledgeable”. He knows what he knows and can’t be convinced otherwise. See it quite often when it comes to firearms and shooting. Thinks he knows so much and not willing to listen to those that might help him learn a thing or two.

Personally, I couldn’t care less if one actually shoots the firearms they own to be an advocate for 2a. That said, I do think those that enjoy shooting, shooting sports, etc have a higher appreciation for 2a rights. They aren’t just items of value to us.

Agree but we were young once. Thought we had it all figured out and learned from mistakes made. The older I get, I find there's more that I don't know.

True on the “we were all young once”. I learned many times along the way that there’s a lot I can learn and improve.

Then there’s always the “those young bucks don’t know shit” thing.  That said, this isn’t a generational thing. In this case, it’s anyone who is the “I know what I know, don’t confuse me with the facts” type. I know many like that who are older as well. Any age really. Again, especially with firearms.

Yeah, I rail on OG. I do try to teach or help him “see things”. Never saying I’m right or all knowing.  But there are times where you can tell he never had anyone put him in his place.

One thing I learned at a VERY early age is that NOBODY can know everything, and some things I thought I knew were often the result of bad input from people pretending to know.

I never had the "affliction" of trusting everything I was told.  I'd take what was said/what I read or saw on TV, and pull out the Encyclopedia Brittanica.  By the time I'd gone down the "See Vol so-and-so for details" rabbit hole, I'd spent sometimes an hour or more learning the fundamental enough to personally decide for myself if what I was being fed was correct or plain BS.

Curiosity helped make me a researchaholic.  With the advent of the WWW, I'm like a kid in an infinite candy store.

TBH i would shoot more but its so inconvenient for me.  The range is a 2+ hr round trip.  Ammo costs a ton.  I work 60 hr weeks.  Its a hobby I like but can't fully enjoy.  If I won the lotto first thing I would do is buy a house in Hawaii Kai on the marina and "retire".   Range would be a 5min drive and I could shoot whenever I felt like however much.  Don't want to make too many excuses. I do like the value point, I am a collector.  I own many things I doubt I will use like body armor and radiation suits. In a way I am a prepper.

If you're working 60 hours a week, then your job must be to post on forums nonstop.

Then stop making excuses and make it a priority.

Ok, here’s one for you. Why do you want to shoot? If it’s something you can’t fully enjoy?

I get many here have different interests in firearms. Some like black powder and classic firearms. Some like shotguns.  Some like competition. Some even like droning on and on about how they don’t own anything (they are really boring types btw). Why do you want to shoot?
