I have a feeling she will be handed way more than $200K when the case is settled.

Your feelings are probably wrong.  Private university has alot of leeway in admissions.

https://www.npr.org/2011/04/05/135121451/how-the-pox-epidemic-changed-vaccination-rules

People were against smallpox vaxx too and look how it all turned out in the end  :shaka:

Glad my forefathers and mothers had more common sense and figured it out.  I'm sure there were a bunch of "yall"  fighting the small pox vaccine too.  Thank god yall lost back then.  It was much less safe back then and it still worked.  Don't really condone their methods but it worked.  We have a chance to be better.

This entire post sums up the "how am I a communist" question.  All in the name of the continuation of our nation right?

Your last sentence also makes no sense as in it's an oxymoron. "Glad my forefathers and mothers had more common sense and figured it out" to "Don't really condone their methods but it worked".  Are you preparing to move the goalpost by posting both sides?

You're assuming people here are against the small pox vaxx also.  Where at least 2 people have already posted that they're not against all vaxxes, just the covid one.  I have seen no other post about anyone being against a small pox vaxx.  The concept that many here are against is the forcing a vaxx on the people.  Which till this post, you still do not comprehend.

Are vaxxes invented 100 years ago safer than a vaxx used to treat the same thing today? IDK, never looked into the numbers or if the vaxx was changed since then. But what I do know is for the weightlifting supplement industry  is not FDA approved.  And supplements in the 70's were better and safer than they are today.  Many companies today try to cut corners and go cheap, which sacrifices quality (Amino spiking suit, Anavar/Halodrol suit, USPlabs suit, etc...).  And they also use deceptive marketing to get people to buy their product (Muscle Tech/Hydroxycut).

The idea of mass vaccinations, at almost any means is a good thing, it worked.  But how they went upon it, by todays more civilized manners would be incorrect.   Is what I am trying to say.   The small pox vaxx was LESS tested and LESS approved by the "FDA"  than todays covid vaccine.  So it would be reasonable to figure the same people against todays covid would be against the small pox vaxx.

I can comprehend it,  I am not for forced vaxx.  I am however perfectly fine with making life hard for those who choose not to (within private property etc).

I think you are confusing everything for being communist.  I would argue if there was anything to compare with it would be nationalist.

She was stripped of a $200K scholarship.  Those are actual damages, not to mention the psychological damage being turned into a national news story brings.

We'll see how it turns out, but I know you'll never admit to being wrong then.

Why do you ALWAYS have to post the opposite of what most people say here -- usually without any reasoning or logic to back it up?

Now we're splitting hairs. "not against forced vaxx. I am however perfectly fine with making life hard for those who choose not to".  This is your MO. In order for the nation to go green, I'm glad gas prices are increasing is a most recent example.  Same could be said about Ige's proclamation last year.  He wasn't banning people from coming into HI, which to freely travel between states is in the constitution.  Instead he allowed people to come here, but they cannot leave their hotel/home for 2 weeks.

I think you do not understand how communist think and act.  If you were leaning more toward being a nationalist, then why so anti Trump?  That pretty much sums up perfectly how you are not what you think you are.  He brought jobs back from overseas, had other countries pay their fair share, tariffed appropriately other countries, pretty much the list that Flapp made recently that you disagreed with for most of it.

"The idea of mass vaccinations, at almost any means is a good thing, it worked.  But how they went upon it, by todays more civilized manners would be incorrect. " Then why even post the link of the article?  That would be like me saying firearm safety for children is important, then post a MDA link that states how to take guns away.

https://childrenshealthdefense.org/news/the-bill-gates-effect-whos-dtp-vaccine-kills-more-children-in-africa-than-the-diseases-it-targets/

WHO’s DTP Vaccine Killed More Children in Africa Than the Diseases it Targeted

Drs. Soren Mogensen and Peter Aaby, are both vocal vaccine supporters. They were shocked when they examined years of data from a so called “natural experiment” in Guinea Bissau where 50% of children die before age five. In that west African nation, half the children were vaccinated with the DTP vaccine at three months and the other half at six months. Dr. Mogenson and his team found that girls vaccinated with the DTP vaccine died at 10 times the rate of unvaccinated kids. While the vaccinated children were protected from Diphtheria, Tetanus and Pertussis, they were far more susceptible to other deadly diseases than unvaccinated peers. The vaccine apparently compromised their immune systems. Thanks to Gates, DTP is the world’s most popular vaccine.

Hard to hit 70% and heard immunity when you keep increasing the pool size, what are the chances these are the folks bringing Delta to your doorstep? And the military has been flying them around the country to drop them in random spots? Yeah, the government is your best friend and cares so much about you....

The number of detainees who tested positive for COVID-19 in the Rio Grande Valley (RGV) Sector alone has increased by 900%, according to information obtained by Fox News

Maybe everyones is just very cautious of taking COVID medical advice from the same folks that are telling you children should have their reproductive organs removed and take a lifetime of the wrong  hormones because it will cure their media induced dismorphia. Or that based on the melanin expression of your DNA you are genetically doomed to be either a Racist or a Victim with a death clock counting down to a date with a Police death squad. The folks screaming the Weather is going to kill Everyone! don't have much credibility when it comes to handing out practical well reasoned sciene based life advice.

Our country was founded on a distrust of government.  We fought wars against our British and US governments.

The Constitution empowers the people to keep and bear arms to prevent such government overreach in extreme circumstances after nonviolent means are exhausted.

The Constitution's Bill of Rights is more about spelling out what government may not do than listing what the people may do -- because the government can do anything it wants unless there is a law against it.

Power corrupts.  Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

If you trust government, you're not just naive.  You're also ignorant of history.   Every government tries to rationalize its illegal actions with comments to the effect that it's for the good of the nation, public safety and so on.  If you bought that line every time they used it, YOU'RE the useful idiot they count on.

Making life uncomfortable is perfectly legal.   I am a strong capitalist,  private property should have rights.  That includes not letting people use/interact with said private property for any reasonable reason.  IF you don't want someone in your house,  don't let them.  Vaccine is just a condition you can require.  Nothing wrong with being specific.

Trump is an isolationist.  Try google that too.  Not an nationalist.  The policies he was enacting I feel was weakening America not making it stronger.   He was also more of a dictatorship not a democracy.  Fake news and punishing any dissenting opinions.   The list can go on.
I think America should dominate the ENTIRE world not pull out.  We should have robust trade and the agreements trump made only weakened America,  we lost money.

Not really the article showed what was possible with utterly worse conditions.  We have a chance to do better.  Enact vaccine policies that make it very difficult not to be vaxxed if you want to lead a normal life.  While preserving the right and access to public areas and services.

Our current vaccine is MUCH safer, MUCH better regulated and proven.  We just need the will to continue on and make sure everyone is vaxxed.  In the past they took it slightly too far,  but the general idea of getting everyone vaxxed is sound.   AND it worked flawlessly in the end.  We don't have small pox anymore.

"Making life uncomfortable" to force someone to do something or lose employment, etc, is called "harassment," which is illegal.  Look it up.  People have a right to live their lives and make a living without being "made uncomfortable" intentionally.

Googling is no longer a valid form of research, since the White House admitted they are colluding with Social Media to remove information they don't want people to see.

A private university can take away your scholarship for a social media post, not exactly a difficult thing to do.  A scholarship is not some "god given" right.  They have a vaccine policy that they don't need to make exemptions for.  There's tons of legal ways they can do this.

It not even about the government anymore, they will always hop on any bandwagon of idiocy  that takes them to the next 2 yrs in power.

It's about the internet giving morons a bullhorn that reaches too far. A traditional society acted as a firewall for bad ideas, no one would keep transmitting Omni levels of Dumb far across the land, they would be ignored and it would cease to spread. Now we have the internet able to hit repeater stations of stupid and a bunch of broken friendless shut ins are thumbs upping each other in a 1-uppers game of King of Stupid Mountain.

This board is in no way helping Omni get less dumb or stopping him from trying to climb that mountain.
