A new report is shedding more light on conditions inside immigration detention centers along the US-Mexico border, with ICE officials confirming upwards of 30% of detainees are refusing the COVID-19 vaccine when offered the injection.

So Green mentions the other day that 20% of July positives are from returning residents. IE travel related.  So if July so far has about 1500 positive cases, then 300 are from travel.  I asked my friend who lives in Vegas if there are numbers for how many HI tourist they get and he said there is no stats for June/July, but in May they saw 630,000 HI residents travel to Vegas alone.  So lets say all HI residents who traveled only went to Vegas and that number holds for July, then 300 of 630K isn't a high number at all.  Now add in the other 49 states and international, then 300 in July is manini.

Just to clarify because someone will argue, he means that Pfizer is the main vaxx that is used in Israel. Not that all Israeli's are vaxxed.  Like how here we have Pfizer, Moderna, and J&J.  IIRC Israel has a 60%+ vaxx rate.

Southern Nevada (vegas) issued a mandate for all employees in areas open to the public must wear a mask. The board voted 7-0 in favor. So dealers, waiters, lobby, cashiers, janitors, housekeeping all mask up. But cooks do not have to wear a mask since the kitchen isn't open to the public.

What the board also wants later and did discuss in their public meeting is mandatory vaxx.They were told as of now due to the emergency usage, they cannot mandate the vaxx. But once that's lifted (FDA approved) they can. And that SCOTUS did rule that they can mandate a vaxx or something like that. I dont remember the name of the SCOTUS case.  No details were mentioned about exceptions.

I recall saying asking for papers and firings were coming and a perfectly good thing.   Its not a slippery slope if it was seen a mile away.  Its America,  feel free to start your own independent business or find one who will accept you.   Private companies have rights, which including firing threats to their business.
