I might indulge this Saturday or Sunday at the archery range. Weather permitting.

Currently having a pretty good Mexican cigar that I bought about 10 yrs ago. Paired with a very rare brandy that Chuck Furuya promoted around 30 years ago. Two days ago I shared some of this brandy with a very lovely ex-coworker. But she didn't like it. She is a white wine person.

Tried one of those Nica Rustica rubustos from Drew Estate. Pretty good, but man the markup from mainland prices is crazy.
Sharing is caring, but forced redistribution is communism.

You can thank Dr. Green for that markup. He wants to save us all from being sick and miserable. Aren't you glad you have a gov that wants to get rid of horrible gas cars, evil guns, toxic lead bullets,, shooting ranges and cigars? We must be living in paradise. I can't understand why people would want to leave such a perfect place.

I would go Thursday. It's only $140.
But I don't think it's a good idea to be drinking and driving that distance.
Especially if the cigar makes me wobbly.

Anyone have experience with transporting cigars via carry-on luggage? I’m Flying to Vegas end of the month and planning to stock the humidor. Grandparents in the past could fly with two cartons of cigarettes in their carry-on, but I couldn’t find any current policies on Hawaiian Airlines’ website. TSA’s website says ‘allowed’, but knowing how much Hawai’i demands their taxes cares for our health, I imagine there’s an upper limit that will be not be considered ‘for resale’.

Re. Airlines
Hawaiian seems more restricted.
Southwest is pretty lenient in general.
I was out at archery side with 3 other guys today.
One of them is moving back from CA.
He just brought back a lot of ammo on southwest.
I heard SW also lets you bring back hundreds of cigars.

Bring back a few tins of ACID RED for me.
These are tiny cigars in tins of 10 each.
I'll pay you back of course.

Checked out En Fuego Cigar Lounge in Las Vegas yesterday. It’s an 11-minute cab ride from the Rio and a very cozy place to indulge. Great selection in their walk-in humidor, a good number of loungers, and a poker table. Rick helped with a couple of selections.

Best part is their discounts: besides their already lower-than-Hawaii prices, you can buy five cigars and get the sixth free and 15% off a full box…I took advantage of both. Will return come next trip.
