Any good Rubiks cube solving vids?

So with youtube, you can solve lots of issues with step by step vids.  Like how to fix a clogged drain, assemble firearms, clean stuff, etc....

Watched about 14 diff vids on how to solve a rubiks cube and no bueno.  Many vids are missing 1 key step often.  Also the "solve with 2 easy moves" vids are fake.

All the vids explain stuff like it's to an expert. Even the vids labeled "my 4 year old uses this algorithm".  I need a slow, dummy type of vid.  The farthest I got was rows 1 and 2 done and the top row not done with the yellow at the top.

This one helped me.  The last part takes concentration, but it's easy once you understand the "if-then-else" rules on which patterns indicate which algorithms to use.

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world;
the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

I've watched many vids on how to solve and the one below helped the most.

But basically, it's not a step by step process.  Even the vid above leaves out some important info that requires logic.  Then once you solve it enough, you can figure out the missing steps to make it faster.

I was able to complete it many times now without needing help. At first I was stuck on step 4 and had to refer to the above vid.  But now no help needed.  By best time so far is 2:18.

Now the next step, do I learn how to speed cube?  That would require memorizing 30+ algorithms compared to the 5 that I know now.  NOt sure I want to put the time in, but who knows what the future holds.

Your brain's neural pathways closed (or quickly closing) on learning how to solve those "puzzles".  My buddy's 10 year old can solve those things in like a minute.  And I've tried to mix them up "well".  Fuzzer solves them super quick.

The world record is 3.47 seconds, by some 15 year old.  Most pro's can finish them around 5 seconds.  Although there are over 30,000,000,000,000,000 diff combo's , once you learn the algorithms to use, you can solve it easily.  My method is not for speed, but to complete it.  Learning the speed method will take much more effort that IDK if I'm willing to put in.

I'm debating to do a YT how to vid and explain in more detail than all the other vids.  Only thing holding me back is not having a camera. It would be about a 30 min vid and IDK if my phone can handle that.

You want to put your mugg out there on the interwebs?   ???

What amazes me are those folks who can look at the cube (I think was around a minute or so) and then solve blindfolded.  WTF. Sometimes I can't remember what I had for lunch later that same evening.

The vid would of my hands and the cube. Opsec preserved.

There are many different types of solving events. 1 handed, 1 handed blind folded, 1 cube in each hand simultaneous solving. Then you get into the other types of cubes like 4x4, 7x7, 13x12 (3x3 is the standard).  It's an entire culture out there.  Most are by high school or less due to the amount of time practicing. The world holder put his title on the side cause he's like 30 and had to get a life.  He does make over $100K a year, but spends all his time trying to keep up with the younger ones.  So no going out, no gf, things like that.  Where as a high school or less doesn't have those interest yet.  They go to school, then come home and cube.  So he still does guest competitions and enters, but he cut his practice time by 75% and got a real job.

The US champ Park is autistic and cubing has brought him out of his shell.  His mom said for the first time ever, he actually hugged her back shortly after taking up cubing.  She can have a conversation with him now.  When he first started winning, people would clap and that would freak him out.  So the announcers then told people to hold the applause.  But now they can clap and he has no issues.  He doesn't even have to wear a headset anymore to dampen sounds for his autism.

Then there's this fakka:
