I know everyone is thinking it, but don't do it.  Think of the children.

Play aerial fireworks instead.

With ammo prices and supplies what they are, this is likely not a concern for 2021.

the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

What about just popping primers ?  :D

A neighbor popped primers in his muzzleloader last year and they’re pretty loud.
Balloon on the muzzle to show no projectiles.

Happy New Year, Hauoli Makahiki Hou and Gung Hee Fat Choy everyone.
Stay safe and outta jail.

and how many incidents were related to "celebratory gunfire" ? Just sensationalism by mommies who hate guns. The greater problem is ILLEGAL fireworks. Blatant violations every NYE and since November but is there a crackdown? Laws make ANY difference?
But yet we 2A supporters are hammered every year by the legislature.

With the prices of ammo, fireworks are cheaper and easier to come by.

I live close enough to the ocean

I'm also careful as I don't want to be

Not a single pop where I live and it is as quiet as any other night. Oahu must be nuts.

Was driving back from Makapuu and there were some fire trucks and ambulances zooming about with lights on. Lots of popping back in the valleys, especially once you get west of the Pali. Some rain came along and things have chilled out a bit, but as I type this it is picking back up again. Definitely hearing some gun shots too. Wish I had thought of that primer idea earlier. Already had 2 stouts and do not want to go playing with the Lee press just now. Happy New Year everyone!

Happy New Year to my friends at 2a!

Here at Mililani Mauka it is now 9:55 and the aerials are getting more and more prevalent.

When I look out the front of my house....wooo hooo!  AERIALS!!!!

When I look out the back of my house.....wooo hooo!  AERIALS!!!

Guarantee FREE show at 12:00!!! :shaka:

Thank you to all the corrupt officials, shippers, inspectors, and illegal purchasers of fireworks that make this yearly free show for my entertainment possible!  ;)

Last nights midnight finale was awesome.
We overlook Waipahu, Ewa and Makakilo/Kapolei.
Non-stop for a good 20 minutes to 1/2 hour.
COVID and the economy certainly did not slow down the aerials.
