Don’t know who has heard about this bill, but it was introduced here, and is an assault rifle and assault shotgun ban that basically bans any semi automatic rifle or shotgun.

Dear Senator Rhoads,
I am writing to inform you that Hawaii doesn’t want nor need anymore gun restricting laws. Not only is your SB 1334 bill unconstitutional it is completely unnecessary. Hawaii already has some of the strictest gun laws in the nation, and would not stop criminals from having these items, only law abiding citizens who enjoy possessing and legally using these items. These items are tools and are not dangerous, the only dangerous thing are people and anyone who would use these tools in a nefarious way have no business being out on the streets. Please do not save this email and ask for donations I will not donate to your campaign, but more importantly do not move forward with this proposal.
And am hoping and suggesting everyone on here also write him an email against this issue. I’m sure it will not help or actually do anything and the man will care little, but doing something is better than nothing. I don’t want to lose what little gun “rights” we have in Hawaii. Once they’re gone they are gone.
