Yay I just picked up my Sig P230SL. The FFL fee was only $40 flat, no tax on the price of the gun like I had feared. I also got a case of .380 ammo for a great price, OGC Tactical is awesome! At Sports Authority the .380 ammo is expensive but at OGC Tactical it's about the same as the 9mm, I couldn't ask for more. I guess I'll just start my training with .380 pistols, even though that is weird.

This P230SL is New Old Stock, but it has a couple of noticeable cosmetic manufacturing defects, so I'm probably gonna shoot it. I'm still looking to buy a second P230SL (there's a really nice one on gunbroker right now that I am hoping to win) and also a plain P230 (haven't really been able to find one with a condition/price to my liking). I also need more mags, that's a good excuse for me to buy more of this same gun. The newer P232 magazines look different.

yup, love the german stuff.....still waiting for the MR308/762 to come out,  "after"  and if they release little brother mr556/223(maybe end of this year or next, who knows..its HK)....

i was 106mm on FH.....got to get ready for "Abunai Farm shoot" tomorrow!!!

incidently looking for a decent used bolt action rifle.  something along the lines of a ruger m77, or a rem 700... but realistically speaking i don't think my wallets can validate that particular expendature.

It's funny that you mention that. Someone already did that inside someone else's post. Not mentioning any names That where most of the new guys are coming from, I suspect.

hah we have to get it all centralized if we want to make ground with anything around these parts.  I put something up there. Gotta see if we get more people around so we know what kind of environment we have.
