Hey guys my name is Jason Bearden...  I'm part owner of STA TACTICAL this is a veteran owned and operated company..  I was a Sniper in the USMC and did 8 years of honorble service I currently just got out of the USMC in May 2011 everyone that is a partner in this business are also Marines some in force recon and other infantry units with our experience in contracting and real world operations we will be able to give you the best advice possible ...  We decided to put this tactical gear store here in  HI to give you guys the best oppurtunity to buy gear without having to buy it online...  Like I said before we are here for you guys also we are not a company that owns a gunshop or something in that nature that has no real world experience that is just trying to make money not giving you the best advice possible for a certain product...Please let me know if I can do anything for you boys we also in the future would like to hold a shooting competition out on the Marine Base Range to be able to expeerience long range shooting and that is in the works right now if you would be interested in something like that please let me know so we would be able to judge if people would be interested in something like that...We are the new guys in town and I just wanted you to know if there is anything we can do for anyone feel free to contact me my email is jason.bearden@sta-tactical.com thanks guys for your time and always remember "complacency kills STA TACTICAL.....

I just signed up tonight.  Im new to this forum.  Seen people on FH recommending it since that gun section is dead.  Own a couple of long guns.  Starting to get my head into the survival SHTF mindset.  Looks like this is the forum to be on.  Look foward to learning a lot and helping out where ever i can.

Grew up learning to shoot from my dad and have just gotten permission from my better half to start buying my own guns.  I'm glad to find people who are into guns and shooting at home here in Hawaii.

Howzit everybody,
  Pretty new to the gun scene, my co workers took me out to koko head about a year ago and ever since then ive had the gun fever!

Found this site via HDF.  I'm transferring to the island once again, and I am currently in transit.  I was previously stationed at Pearl Harbor from 2001-2004, minus a tour in Iraq.  Since gun registration is fundamentally against my religion, my shooting enthusiast activities will be limited to saving, researching and gathering the best parts for an AR-15 during the mandatory 3 years I'm stuck on the rock, and also doing whatever I can to support the current HDF legal and political efforts to relieve the American Citizens and active duty military personnel in Hawaii from the dangerous, wasteful and oppressive unlawful edicts that currently prevail. 

I know a few things have changed since I was on island last, so any recommendations for good sources for AR parts, reloading supplies or practical martial arts schools that can work with somebody who is deployed for months at a time would be appreciated.  (Tang Soo Do, Hapkido or Shotokan preferred).
