Perfectly reasonable.  Break the law,  suffer the consequences.  The arrest doesn't seem violent or unreasonable. Don't care about your backstory.
Was he proven  guilty in court? If he wasnt, then he didnt break the law yet right?

A major witness in the United States’ Department of Justice case against Julian Assange has admitted to fabricating key accusations in the indictment against the Wikileaks founder.

The witness, who has a documented history with sociopathy and has received several convictions for sexual abuse of minors and wide-ranging financial fraud, made the admission in a newly published interview in Stundin where he also confessed to having continued his crime spree whilst working with the Department of Justice and FBI and receiving a promise of immunity from prosecution.

The man in question, Sigurdur Ingi Thordarson, was recruited by US authorities to build a case against Assange after misleading them to believe he was previously a close associate of his. In fact he had volunteered on a limited basis to raise money for Wikileaks in 2010 but was found to have used that opportunity to embezzle more than $50,000 from the organization.

https://www.businessinsider.com/facebook-texas-supreme-court-ruling-sex-traffickers-section-230-2021-6

Facebook failed to protect against teen sex trafficking, court rules, paving the way for tech companies to be held liable when they're used for criminal activity

Facebook has argued that it is shielded by the protections of Section 230 — part of an internet law that states online platforms are not liable for what people post on their services — and should therefore not be held responsible for what is posted on its platform.

But the Texas Supreme Court said Section 230 doesn't mean Facebook can operate as a "lawless no-man's-land," as the Chronicle reported.

"Holding internet platforms accountable for the words or actions of their users is one thing, and the federal precedent uniformly dictates that section 230 does not allow it," the majority of the court said, per the Chronicle. "Holding internet platforms accountable for their own misdeeds is quite another thing. This is particularly the case for human trafficking."

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/facebook-sex-trafficking-online-recruitment-report/

Over half of online recruitment in active sex trafficking cases last year occurred on Facebook, report says

95% of the 65 million child sexual abuse material reported to NCMEC in 2020 came from Facebook.

Pepperidge farms remembers when they seized and shutdown Backpage.com over exactly this. The CEO is now in prison.

http://backpage.com/

In late March 2018 and early April 2018, courts in Massachusetts and Florida affirmed that Backpage's facilitation of sex trafficking fell outside of the immunity granted by Section 230 safe harbors. The latter ruling argued that because Backpage "materially contributed to the content of the advertisement" by censoring specific keywords, it became a publisher of content and thus no longer protected.[128][129]

On April 9, 2018, the US Department of Justice's indictment against Backpage was unsealed.[130][131] The 93 charges included "Crimes of conspiracy to facilitate prostitution using a facility in interstate or foreign commerce, facilitating prostitution using a facility in interstate or foreign commerce, conspiracy to commit money laundering, concealment money laundering, international promotional money laundering, and transactional money laundering."[132][133] According to prosecutors, the seven people charged in the indictment are: Michael Lacey of Paradise Valley, Arizona; James Larkin of Paradise Valley, Arizona; Scott Spear of Scottsdale, Arizona; John E. "Jed" Brunst of Phoenix, Arizona; Daniel Hyer of Dallas, Texas; Andrew Padilla of Plano, Texas; and Jaala Joye Vaught of Addison, Texas

Studies show 95% of Twitter users enjoy pineapple on their pizza. This perfectly underscores how Twitter isn’t real life. Always remember this when arguing with someone on here. It’s all fake.

I knew there was a better gauge of Twitter reliability.  Of course, it's pineapple pizza!   :geekdanc:

Twitter reliability as a measure of public opinion has been unreliable for a long time.

Only about 22% of US adults use Twitter.

80% of Twitter users are affluent millennials.

71% of Twitter users say they use Twitter to get their news.   :shake:

Twitter is the preferred social network for news consumption.   :shake: :shake:

Barack Obama is currently the most followed account on Twitter with over 118 million followers
(Many people follow public figures' accounts out of curiosity or their need to keep tabs on what
high profile people are up to, not necessarily out of "loyalty")

85% of small and medium business users use Twitter as one means to provide customer service.

80% of Twitter users accessing the platform on a mobile device, and 93% of video views are on mobile.

About 10% of US Twitter users are creating 80% of all Tweets.

There are 68.7 million US Twitter users, which is just over half the total number of users globally.

That means 6.87 million US Twitter are often driving what the rest of us are told is trending in the nation.

6.8 million is a little less than the estimated 254 million adults in the US.  That's about 3% or less of the adult population sometimes driving the news cycle with what we are told is top-of-mind for Americans.

In short, Twitter is NOT a good indicator of what Americans think.

https://www.kitv.com/story/44186856/survey-a-majority-of-hawaii-residents-believe-tourism-is-worth-the-issues-associated-with-the-industry

Of the nearly 400 Maui residents who were surveyed, 70 percent said the benefits of tourism outweigh its downfalls. Many other residents, however, feel the exact opposite.

Many? That's 30% of the population hardly the majority. The article tries to sell a point that tourism is bad.

Fox News Hack Chris Wallace Suggests It’s Republicans Who Are Defunding Police

Wasn't the $2T stimulus bill also supposed to help increase funding for police?  It also bails out the poorly run cities like Portland and Minnesota, so they ought to have the funds to fix whatever the police departments need fixing.

At this point, it's not about money.  It's about using the police for political purposes, and then pretending you support the police.

It's not the Federal government's job to fund local police.  They already fund IRS, FBI, Homeland Security, BATFE, ICE, Secret Service, and a slew of other law enforcement and security agencies.  If the cities and states want more police, better training and better equipment, maybe they can funnel some of that Critical Race Baiting funding or the money they spent on BLM road paintings to help pay for that.

It's always the same thing.  Claim they need more money, but you know the problems are not caused by lack of funds.
