 :shaka:

For me it's pancakes with bee-yooo-ter and maple syrup.  Dupars at the Suncoast Casino in Vegas makes killer pancakes.

Heading to Vegas in 5 days.  The prices there are so ridiculous I wouldn't be surprised the pancakes are like $25 for 3 of them.

Slovenia Independence Day

I have bullets cast from a mold made by a fellow named Miha Previc in Slovenia.
They are very high quality. When I bought the mold, it came in a few days.

Feb 4 is FACEBOOK birthday.
Thanks to facebook, I've wasted countless hours of my precious time.
It is useful for staying in touch with family and friends, but pretty much worthless for anything else.

I personally don't engage in Facebook, but my wife does a little and of course my kids engage in it a lot.

I have to admit it is a useful tool in keeping in touch with family.  Unfortunately, it has always alerted us as to who in our family has kicked the bucket.

I closed my FB account many years ago, but I wound up creating another so I could advertise on the FB Marketplace.  I've gotten instant responses and successful sales there.  You just need to educate yourself first on the scams people try there to avoid them.  i never thought anyone would buy a turkey fryer, but it sold in a day and for more than I paid for it 2 years before!  Washer & dryer sets and vehicles seem to be some of the most sought items, mainly because new prices are so high.  My daughter has scored huge savings buying clothes for her 2 kids on there and reselling what they've outgrown.  Many of the clothes she buys still have tags on them, and if you've priced kids' clothes, they are anything but affordable given how little time they fit in them.

Anyway, I stay away from the friend requests.  It sounds sad, but on FB, the only friends I have are family so we can share posts from marketplace.

Feb 17 is "Random acts of kindness day".
It's also "analog to digital tv" day.

Since I used to be an electronics tech, I went to visit elderly folks to help them get their tv working before the end of analog tv happened.
I don't remember getting paid to do that, so that might be classified as a semi-random act of kindness.
