I question whether he's even been outside the US for more than a short vacation.  Certainly never spent time living and working shoulder-to-shoulder with people in other countries.

In particular, Middle East and Pacific Rim countries.

If by pacific rim, you include Japan then yes,  I've spent a decent amount of time there.  And no I don't travel much.  I go where work sends me and vacation once in a while.

I've spent months at a time in S. Korea, Japan, Thailand, Guam (US Territory, but definitely different culture), and Saudi Arabia.

When you live and work among the locals of other countries, you learn things you don't learn as an American tourist.

Please provide a more specific answer than "decent amount of time".  That could be 2 x 1 week trips, or 6 months.

Glad you're honest about not traveling much.  It drives home our point that you really have no experience in the places you pretend to know all the answers for solving their problems.

Answer the question, focus:
What have you've done for your fellow man?

Just taking a jab in the arm I wouldn't qualify as patriotic.

Maybe 3 months?   I understand Japan decent.  Middle east?  No idea.  But I do know our military is strong and can crush anyone.

Covid death rate is much higher than the flu.  Also with the flu its your duty to call out sick and try and not to pass it to others.

I said death rate for children. More children died from the flu during the 2018-2019 flu season than COVID during the entire pandemic.

Not given anyone Covid or a STD.  Got that going for me.  Half of those while good acts are not really patriotic.  I pay my taxes, avoid crime and support the government,  hell I even work for them.
How do u know about covid? Do u get tested weekly and are neg since this began in 2020? Did u ever have an antibody test and how often?

"I pay my taxes, avoid crime and support the government,"

We all here do that, that doesn't make us any more or less patriotic. Again:

What have you've done for your fellow man?

Simple question to answer, especially if you have 3.7 Or does Flapp has a point, it's all about you.

#1 -- How can you know for sure?  Asymptomatic cases are common, so you could have been spreading the virus without even knowing.

#2 -- Being proud of not spreading an STD?  The majority of people have never contracted an STD or, if they did, spread it.  Spreading an STD requires a MINIMUM of 2 sexual partners -- one to give it to to you, and one to get it from you.  I don't think you've had the opportunity unless you've been frequenting Hotel Street.

#3 -- Paying taxes are mandated by law.  Not like you have much of a choice when most are withheld by your (government) employer.

#4 -- Avoid crime?  WTF is that?  You "avoid" committing crimes, or you "avoid" being a victim.  One is again mandated by law giving you little choice, and the other isn't within your control.

#5 -- Support the government/work for them.  I have a feeling you didn't seek out a government job to serve your fellow man.  How many private sector jobs that offer the same pay did you work before that one?  Did you have an "in" with the hiring manager?  Is a relative or friend the man reason you landed that job?  I bet there's more to the reasons you "chose" a government job that you're sharing.

If the best thing you have "going for you" is you aren't spreading diseases and get paid by the government, then the standards you set for yourself are pretty damn low!!

The job of the military is not to "crush anyone."

Another clue you really have no understanding of the things you try to lecture us about.

20 years from now we're all going to be a bunch of Zimbabwe millionaires banging rocks together and congratulating each other how we pulled together during the pandemic but confused why our USD doesn't buy shit anymore.  Oh, and covid will still be around.  Good thing we all stayed home.

Correction!  Trillionaires!
