I don't find anything Marx thought "interesting."
He saw religion as a means to help accomplish the move to Socialism, and eventually Communism, even though religion itself was not accepted in his ideology.
Marx "stole" the concept "I am my brother's keeper" and incorporated it into his Manifesto. The entire foundation of Communism is based on the importance of the collective, with the individual wants and needs being less important. The "brother's keeper" parable is a very familiar and important aspect of Christianity.
Because your mind is closed.
Upon reading, looks like you found some of Marx writings interesting.
He makes good points in the quote I posted.
I’m not a communist or marxist. Heck I’m not even a socialist. Heck I’m not even a Democrat but wouldn’t go so far as to say I’m a Republican.
But when someone makes interesting points, they are interesting points.
Religion is the opiate of the people.
But is not bad because it gives them hope, heart and soul.
They can live in the misery and suffering but also get through tragic times and keep hope.
My interpretation.
I’m not evaluating communism.
This isn’t a political thread.
