Nutshell.
But hospitalization is a big thing.
Don’t know stats on that off hand.
But pretty sure vaxxed can spread it.
But hopefully not going to the hospital or dying.

You are kind of making the base argument for universal/government subsidized healthcare. Not saying that is good or bad, just pointing it out.

You can't have universal healthcare in a destroyed system, which is exactly what the policies that you support are going to accomplish.

It begs the question why should I have to pay extra to subsidize the increased costs of caring for someone who has chosen courses with increased risk.

Uh, that extends beyond healthcare, waaaayyyyy beyond.

“Uh oh it looks like you own firearms, Mr. Johnson. Unfortunately under the terms of your High Risk plan the procedure that you need to keep you alive is not covered. Now will that be cash or credit for today’s 80% copayment?”

We can read everyones DNA now, we should certainly tag everyone who is biologically flawed and base their insurance costs on what health problems they are genetically predisposed to have in their lifetime. Maybe even force them to get gene therapy to remove those flaws.

So far all employers (4 different ones starting at age 15)  that I got my health insurance from never asked any health questions like if I smoke, am fat, have HIV, etc...The only time my premium went up more than normal inflation was when Barrycare took effect , and I lost my plan.

So if a unvaxxed person is charged say $200 extra a month, does a vaxxed person get a $200 a month reduction in premium?  If the answer is no, then this is nothing more than a plot to get people to get vaxxed.

Ok if you want to really want to walk down the road following this overblown made up Scarcity of Medical Resources meme. Why would you prioritize care based on ingesting a single medicine? Need to triage based on long term and what is 'best' for society.

Old people getting sick will always need more and longer care and they had their time on the planet already, back of the line,
Drug Addicts, Fatties, Smokers, Drinkers they are bringing bad health on themselves, back of the line.
What about the long term sustainability of society and its tax base to fund the medical programs? Unemployed, Retired, Welfare recipients folks dont pay in to keep the machine humming, back of the line.
Is your trade, profession, occupation a necessity in society to keep the lights on, food in mouths and shelter over head? If you can probably be replaced by AI or Automation well tough luck, we will talk about you if we have anything left over ....

I got this response from a techtuber in China when I asked why things looked like they were in full swing in Shenzen, while the rest of the world was sucking it.

This isn't really about a virus anymore.

Better option is to gene edit the babies before their are born so they don't have those flaws  :shaka:

Don't really want to believe china.  And if they are telling the truth is because they stop the virus by having no freedoms.  Everyone is tracked and they can lock you down and starve you if they want.

So do you support universal healthcare?  This was brought up before.  But you sure are saying the talking points.

Removing freedoms was my point. It's a slow boil.

Check out the WHO website and see how many deaths China has. When I checked a few months ago, it was 12,000.

Many do not understand the slow boil.

I wasn’t commenting on medical care prioritization.
I was just saying the vaxxed can still catch and spread it but so far looks like they get hospitalized far less frequently.
So if I can still catch it and spread it, how does the vaxx card give me the free pass ?

being vaxxed gets you a free pass.  No need test before flying back into HI.  I had a coworker come back from Vegas and catch COVID. The entire wedding party up there is positive.  She's fully vaxxed. Only reason why she didn't come into the office was because she lost her sense of smell when putting on her perfume b4 coming to work.  So had she not worn perfume, she would have been coming into the office until more major symptoms appeared, which they did in the coming days.  She's fine now, but been out for a month.

That’s what I’m saying.
How can my vaxx card give me a free pass?
But it does.
Got a copy laminated. (Not doing the digital crap.)
But I can still catch it and spread it.
Hopefully just not have to go to the hospital.

What’s the Logic?
