The current evidence does show that our vaccination status affects other around us so it is undeniable that our vaccination choice affects our neighbors

A sex offender or a multiple sex offender or someone who sexually asaualted, but got off cause they have a good lawyer who is vaxxed can enter a gym. A person with no criminal record who is unvaxxed cannot. And in some states, a male offender can now enter a womens restroom.

My age and health bracket has a very low risk of complications, yet im forced to vaxx. I got covid and was unvaxxed and was fine. No one at my work caught it from me either.

About spreading it, refer to prior post about ur firearms possibly being stolen and used for harm. Would u give up all firearms because the chance isnt 0% it wont happen? If u own or carry no firearms, then now its 0%. And remember, 1 has to catch covid 1st, in order to spread it.

Or be a boss like Trump and stare at the eclipse without protection, after being told not to.

What if Biden used reverse psychology and made an edict that no one was allowed to wear a mask, then all the Biden haters would do it just to spite Biden and the goal would be accomplished.

But seriously, I have been giving some thought to the (Human? American?) tendency to resist things for no other reason that it was something someone told us not to do or to do.  If you threw a dollar on the ground and said "EEF I demand you keep that dollar" I might leave the dollar just because you told me to do pick it up. (maybe because I don't want to show you have power over me? Is it all just a form of social competition?) I think this is one of the reasons why when you are studying people with sociology or psychology you try to not let them know you are doing so because if they are aware then their behavior may change.

We don't like being told what to do and sometimes that is a benefit to us and sometimes that is a detriment to us. OSHA says we need a safety harness on the roof, we say "F you OSHA, don't tell me how to walk on a roof!" and at the same time some inventor hears people say it has to be done a certain way but rebels and thinks of a better way.

So you are saying that is false and the vaccine does actually completely prevent a vaccinated person from spreading the virus?

Its not about doing opposite just for the sake of it. People dont trust biden, the fake news, the gov agencies, a new vaxx in humans, etc...

The key difference is a freedom being restricted because of a criminal law being broken rather than a medical choice but as I said it isn't a perfect analogy.

I was listening to a Dr Z Dogg MD video on youtube and he was pointing out that a vaccinated 70 year old is at higher risk of covid than an unvaccinated juvenile. Now this certainly flies in the face of any argument that children or young adults need to be vaccinated for their own safety however where I think there is some transaction is the risk of that young adult from giving covid to that 70 year old. Because the vaccine isn't perfect at stopping infection or transmission the unvaccinated young adult poses some danger to the vaccinated 70 year old.

Rightly you ask the question about what risk level justifies a restriction of rights and again this is a difficult line to draw. If Ebola was racing through the country with its 50% case fatality and we had a vaccine with similar success rates to combat it I think a lot more people would be on board with a vaccine mandate. Do you think there is any line at which point you saw some disease was too dangerous that you would agree with restricting the unvaccinated from going in public to do certain things? I don't even know where I would draw that line honestly.

Actually I agree with the part of your statement that I quoted:

Not only is the vaccine more dangerous that the virus itself, but non-sterilizing means it turns you into a variant factory and puts everyone around you in danger.

Then there is the economic cost of when the vaccinated start dropping like flies. We are already experiencing this in the supply chain shortage and it's about to get a whole lot worse.

Soon the vaccinated are going to clog the emergency rooms and morgues, and then we are going to have to figure out how to get along with a drastically reduced population

Eventually the die off will mean that places with high vaccination rates will be overrun immigrants from the 3rd world where nobody got vaxxed

So yes, your vaccination status does effect others around you.

You literally destroyed Western Civilization because you chose to "listen to the experts" instead of doing your own research.

That's some weapons grade irony right there.

I am not focusing on Biden or any political argument in my comment there, I just used it as an example of a phenomenon in human behavior. I think that if someone, especially from an opposing group/tribe, tells us to do something there is an innate desire to resist.  It could even just be mom telling their kid to go to bed early, even though the kid might be tired they will resist because they were told to sleep.

Both of these are myths with the exception that in young boys the risk of myocarditis is higher than the risk of covid though both are very small.

A very valid counter argument when assessing consequences of shutting down vs not shutting down.

Sorry but this is where covid vaccine hesitancy goes from reasonable and rational to crazy conspiracy territory. There is no credible evidence this is going to happen, this is fear mongering just as bad as some 30 year old vaccinated man wearing a mask when they have sex with their vaccinated wife.

Do we force the non infected to quarantine?  The answer is no.  Do we require proof of test that one is negative for Ebola?  No. Do we fire people because they don't have Ebola or even have it?  No.

There is no line to draw. If one chooses to not do X or Y because of Z event, then that's their choice. But don't stop others from doing it.  Concepts is everything.

So at this point, I say we agree to disagree. Like our views on red flags.  So we can leave it as that, because this will go in circles.  We already covered the Ebola thing many months ago.

Ebola is not comparable to COVID.  Ebola kills about half of those infected.  Those who survive the infection often experience major organ damage.

Because the disease manifests its symptoms in 4 days to 3 weeks, quarantines and isolation of the population actually work.  After 3 weeks of lockdown, if there are no new cases, the lockdowns can end.  The infected who are being treated can be quarantined.

Death occurs between 6 and 16 days after symptoms appear, making the number of people able to spread the disease much smaller than COVID.  Any disease that kills quickly is self-defeating in terms of spreading.  The faster the infected die, the less time the infected have to spread it.

So, point by point, COVID is worse than ebola.  COVID can survive lockdowns, quarantines and vaccines.  Ebola's higher fatality rate, while bad news for the infected, is good news for the people trying to stop the spread.

I suspect that a disease bad enough could come along where even you might draw a line, where the risk of an unvaccinated person could be so great that it would warrant forced vaccinations. Ebola was just an example people know. If it could be spread as easily as covid and undetected then it would be much much worse. Or maybe not, maybe you are hardcore and a disease that kills 100% and transmits easily could come through and you would still be against forced vaccinations?

I don't think we actually disagree though, I am strongly against government mandates for vaccination.

After killing so many people with MRNA it’s not likely there will every be another successful mass vaccination again, at least not in our lifetime. Faith in science and modern medicine is now in serious jeopardy.

Lol false info.   🤣
Billions have been vaxxed no mass death, no mass issues.   If anything the unvaxxed have been the largest casualties.
