i've mostly been using tw25 grease or a lil M pro 7. I might try slip2000 once these run out. I do have a small bottle that came with my rifle

KGS carries it.  I think I've seen it at Security, but don't hold me to that...

I've seen it online, thanks for the suggestion. With all due respect, I'd rather buy local. Yeah, it will cost more and I have to leave the house. I like to check out various shops...

I use Breakfree CLP for lubrication and short term storage protection. I have not found anything that is great for long term storage protection. However, this months Gun Test Magazine rated S&W Spray Lube the best for long term rust prevention and lubrication.

1:1 Full synthetic Motor Oil / Full Synthetic Automatic Transmission Fluid. $10 made 2 quarts of lube that doesn't dry up, and made cleaning easy as hell on my AR.

Great article here. Read it when I was researching what would work "better" than CLP, and would keep costs down...

I also use CLP.  Looking for something to spray on the outside of the guns prior to storage as well soon It hink.

2nd on frog lube,..,
Nice and enviormental friendly and does a great job to boot.
Works well my Glock, sig, ar, 870, and 500.  Gock especially smooth and ar kept really clean even after shooting at the range.

Ballistol seems to work OK, but the smell bothers me - like old gym socks.

frog lube!! it seemed gimmicky a year ago from all the hype but the stuff is legit. its a somewhat weak cleaner but it seeps into the metal for great non oily lubed surfaces that dont attract nearly as much gunked up fouling so once its applied, the weak cleaning characteristics arent a problem.

8oz paste is $19. seems like it will last a very, very long time. the mild wintergreen smell is refreshing and its "food grade" so its easy to use anywhere.

used to use mpro7,breakfree clp, and eezox.

One small wipe did fill the house with that smell.  Cleaned up a gunked up 1911 really well.
