Yup confirmed they are up there. 2A supporters and rebels are the first to be up locked up there. It is run by Americorps and DHS.

I google mapped [Barbers Point Ohahu HI] satellite view and panned around a bit and it looks like there's a whole lot of storage tanks thereabouts to the west of that.  Those white objects in your post right between the runways look like propane storage tanks until you zoom in a little and then they look like long thin tents --see attachment.

There are what look like 18-wheeler trailer boxes all lined up in that area and possibly automobiles around there, too, which might be suitable for "storing" people.  Ag workers?  I didn't see any farmland nearby.  Guards?  If that's an impound area for towed cars (parked illegally?) or other vehicles kept perhaps as evidence, I would expect guards --even armed ones, and maybe even snarly old "junkyard dogs" --to be there.  Impound areas are usually well-protected from irate citizens wanting to get (read "steal") their vehicles back. 

Up almost due north by about 2 km of the "tents," there is Barbera Point Housing on Roosevelt Ave, but that area is off the pic you posted.

So what gives?  What are the implications of your posted  pic in light of the re-zoning proposal and the use of the term "concentration camp?"  Is there a legal description in the re-zoning proposal so we can reference the exact area?

I am not one to accept uncritically any new do-gooder proposals of any governmental entity and sometimes look at them with a pretty jaundiced eye.  But I have a hard time relating the semantically-loaded term "concentration camp" to the raw data presented in your post and the linked article.

You'll have to lead me along by the hand on that one.

The housing project they talk about is for the ag land up in Kunia(pan up north above the H1 freeway).  Tom Berg's idea is to house the homeless and give them an actual job, I don't think it is on his agenda to start a concentration camp. 

Those tents in Barbers Point have been there for many many years.  They are storage for deployed military personnel's vehicles and belongings.  If they have been converted to FEMA death camps in recent times, I wouldn't know.

I sure am glad I gave them my crappy car in 2006, everyone else's vehicles were vandalized and ransacked; I think my beat up crown vic looked better when I got it back.

If an outbreak or a "NATURAL disaster" were to happen, that'll give the government the perfect oppurtunity or excuse to try to contain

I think the facilities for rounding up lots of people are broken up in a few places, but a big one near town is the airport. Not sure if they have converted some of the terminals already but my guess is it's a work in progress.

Id consider Area X on Schofield or the Wheeler Gulch as better locations for internment camps than Barbers Point, especially since Barbers Point is accessible to the general public.

Poor GZ 

^^^GZ says that because GZ has been to PASHA a fair amount of times and to hear it's a homeless camp is pretty funny.  It's the one place in Barbers that definitely will not have homeless.
