Gun Liability Insurance - Ouch
« on: January 29, 2022, 02:40:49 PM »

I've never seen Colion Noir this upset. He shouldn't be worried since he lives in Texas. But residents in San Jose, CA have been shafted big time. This bad legislation could be coming to HI, NY, and other liberal states.

HI tried this a few years ago.

The reason why noir and people not in CA are upset is because how long b4 other states copy. How many times have i heard the excuse not to testify for a bill because "it doesnt affect me". Then later more is infringed upon and only now the person cares.

Im surprised HI has not copied CA more.

Start issuing concealed carry permits and I'll be happy to get insurance.
That is like having a lawyer on "speed dial".
and a get out of jail free card.

The problem is:  the FIRST TIME there's a mass shooting, and they find out either (1) the shooter and/or the gun owner failed to have said insurance, or (2) they look at the outcome of the claim filed under the policy, the people pushing for the law are going to be completely shocked to see that the insurance only makes money for the insurers.  Victims get NOTHING.

I've posted this many times here on how the gun insurance doesn't protect other people from damages the way car liability insurance does.  But, people think they know what they think they know.

the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.
