could someone please translate that to english???

Based on your Wikipedia sources, it is clear this new Cold War you refer is one that has been instigated by the US empire to keep its non-vassal states under its indirect control through various means.

However, what is even more clear is the US imperial proxy war against Russia via Ukraine instigated by the US empire through which everyone else including the Trump administration appears to recognize except you.

I'm starting to suspect I'm trying to converse with an AI Bot that was programmed by Chinese high schoolers randomly using an English thesaurus.

Seeing how AI is used to take and synthesize large amounts of information efficiently, I take your post as a compliment.

However, I admit that I am not as good as AI since you still fail to acknowledge that the anti-neocon, anti-imperialist fact that Ukraine's war with Russia is a proxy war instigated, managed, and still funded by the US empire.

AI is designed to take specific inputs and regurgitate information that may or may not be accurate based on the assumptions, interpretations and algorithms created by the designers -- as do all computer software systems.

So, if that describes you -- seeing US imperialism and proxy wars in every national security story you read, then yes -- you are probably an AI.  Emphasis on the "A", and not so much on the "I".

Why did Putin's Russia invade Ukraine?
Quote
The Russian leader has long questioned Ukraine's right to exist, claiming that
"modern Ukraine was entirely created by Russia" after the communist revolution
in 1917.

In a long-winded 2021 essay he even suggested "Russians and Ukrainians
were one people" dating back to the late 9th Century. Last year he told US TV
talk show host Tucker Carlson that Ukraine was an "artificial state".

Those comments have led many to believe that the goal of the invasion was
in effect to erase the state of Ukraine.

Based on your previous comment,

"You need to get past the specter of the Cold War ..."

you seem to have silently changed your opinion by acknowledging that a Cold War does indeed exist today.

You can't accuse the US of starting the Second Cold War without admitting there is one.

Like they say in congressional hearings when a witness is caught in a fabrication: "Would you care to amend your previous statement?"

Is that how low you are stooping to hide your refusal to recognize the US empire's proxy war against Russia via Ukraine?

If I recall correctly, this thread is about the US empire's proxy war against Russia via Ukraine.

If you wish to hear my response to the "new" or "second" Cold War that you refer, start another thread and I would be delighted to quench your curiosity.

When you stop thinking rationally and just blurt out anti-American word salad in spite of being wrong on the facts, you've already derailed the discussion.  I can't offer an intelligent, persuasive argument when your next comment is going to be yet another deflection and/or personal opinion that's got little if any basis in fact.

You dodged all my questions the last few days.  Boo-hoo if I don't play your little anti-American name game.

Next you'll be whining that I'm not using your preferred jackass pronouns:    Hee / Haw

This thread is about Russia vs. Ukraine -- all you have to do is read the title.  YOU made it about your US proxy war diatribe.

YOU are the one who went into the Cold War rhetorical nonsense.  Now that I called you out on it, suddenly you want to call an out-of-bounds penalty?

News Flash: the Ukraine-Russia War is a proxy war started by the US empire against Russia via Ukraine.

It is you who refuses to acknowledge pretty much what everyone else including the Trump administration understands regardless of how you feel about the situation.

2014 - Russia annexed Crimea

2014 - Pres Obama was in his second term

2016-2020 - Pres Trump in office

2022 - Russia invaded Ukraine

2022 - Pres Biden in his second year as Pres after 8 years as Obama's VP

Yet, Trump is still to this day being called Putin's Puppet and a Russian asset by the media and most on the Left.

Stop trying to include Trump's Panama situation as a factor in the R-U War.  it's just not plausible.
