In Kyiv or however you spell it, the prsident of Ukraine made a televised proposition. He basically said he will issue a gun (prob ak variant) to anyone who wants one. I think thats pretty cool. And I dont think if some country were to invade hawaii, they'll do that here. As far as I heard, their not allowing tasers to be sold to the general public, even though they have taken the "class". Lol. Wasted money.

I wonder how much ammunition will go along with that weapon......

And no, Hawaii would do no such thing.  I mentioned in another thread that Hawaii would probably roll out the red carpet to the invaders and kermit will be at the forefront, with leis and his goofy retarded smile.

Oh, and HPD will hand over the gun registration lists to the invaders.  That's why if it happens in Hawaii we need to lock and load.  We won't be going to the fight.  The fight will come to you when the invaders get the list from HPD.
Sometimes you gotta know when to save your bullets.

This is what happens when the people of Ukraine put their faith in a former comedian to become their national President.  What better stooge could the US empire ask for to do their bidding in Ukraine?  Now that poor soul realizes how he has been used, abused, and abandoned by the US empire when Russia showed how far they will go to defend the ethnic Russian population in Eastern Ukraine as well as their borders from any further NATO expansion.

"HPD will hand over the gun registration lists to the invaders".
There won't be "invaders", they are already here, they are known as Democrats.
Since I don't have any guns that need to be registered in Hawaii, I am immune.
My only concern is which sailboat I'll have to steal in order to get the hell out of here,
when all us NRA members are put on the no-fly list.

I find it interesting that the video/pics that I have seen which were not shown on the main media stations don't show a huge invasion that I would have thought Russia would do.  Like OIF, hundreds of vehicles and thousands of soldiers invading into Iraq.  Many of the vids that I have seen are like 1 Russian Tank with no support infantry, 1 BMP captured, 6 Russian vehicles (unarmored) using the road.  The most impressive (if you can call it that) so far was about 6 choppers flying in formation (maybe air assault?). And a vid of inside a transport plane in what looked like an older airborne drop because no vids of hundreds of paratroopers in the sky.

Then the pics of Chechyan separatist looks like 80 or so and none have a weapon on them.

Or did the Russians already take control of the air waves and these are the vids/pics they're allowing to be shown.

I also get the same feeling.  Prior to the invasion all the MSM "experts" were saying that when Russia invades there will be horrific civilian casualties and catastrophic military casualties on both sides.

But I think Putin is trying to avoid civilian casualties as much as possible and even when it comes to the military he is doing strategic pin-point hits on key military communication and logistic installations.

My opinion is although he is violently invading a sovereign nation, he also wants to send a message that he will not do rampant, senseless destruction and killings of millions of soldiers and civilians.

He want Ukraine under his wing.  But also the hearts and minds of the populace and even the military which has a wealth of good leaders and equipment.  It's possible given time and proper incentives Ukraine just might succumb under his control.  Something like sheep.  They forget soon enough.  And the populace will remember that he did try to keep destruction and death to a bare minimum.

It's a gamble because it looks like the Ukrainians are giving him the middle finger.  If the resistance continues and his losses mount, Putin just might reverse back to shock and awe, something that he is fully capable of.

I wish the leaders of the two sides would settle it in the ring with boxing gloves.  I would love to see joe stand toe to toe with Putin and duke it out.  I would laugh until I die shitting my pants.

My father who still has TDS, blames Trump for this because he was a softy against Putin years ago.  Praises Biden for his sanctions. I wanted to hit my head on the drywall while talking to him.  Also praised Biden for reducing COVID.

I saw that on a SM post from a liberal "former classmate".  Saying Trump is the cause of recent events, particularly connecting impeachment issues. . .

I'm trying to remember where I read it, but to sum it up
He wants to destroy their military.
He wants to replace the present government leadership
and leave it at that. He cannot afford a drawn-out war
with guerrillas.
On to my opinions;
That is why Trump said what Putin is doing is genius.
Putin's problem is the Ukrainian government, not the people.
Most all people are sheep, in that, if you  meet their basic needs
then you can then do as you please.
Hawaii and many other Blue cities are a good example of that.
Putin has gone farther than I expected, but he has "Read"
his opposition pretty well.
They are in "Check"

I'm going to retract my opinion about Putin trying to appease the military.  You are right.  Maybe he might want to annex Ukraine's military equipment but it would be futile to think he can sway the military leaders and even the soldiers to his side of the coin.  Flawed thinking on my behalf here.

Agree that he wants to destroy the current government in Ukraine.

Bringing Ukraine under his wing will give him the breathing room he wants.  But I doubt he will stop there.

Not sure if this is true but:

1) Ghost of Kyiv downs 6 Russian fighters.
2) Woman gives Russian soldier flower seeds so when he dies, flowers will grow. I can't translate so going based off of story. She tells the soldier this.
3) Snake Island solders asked to surrender, they told the Russians to "go fuck themselves". All 13 died
4) Congress woman taking up arms and learning to use AK
5) Lone soldier sacrifices himself because there was no way to blow the bridge remotely or by fuse.
6) Man staying to fight, wife is staying with him to fight along side him (non military)

Wouldn't doubt any of the above.  The Ukrainians are brave people.

I don't know how to share videos here but if you search YT there is a short (under a minute) video of an unarmed Ukrainian man deliberately putting himself several times in front of an advancing Russian armored column in an effort to stop them.

Amazing that the Russians are swerving radically to avoid his actions and not running him over.

Another short video shows Ukrainian president Zelensky and his immediate right hand men (Defense Secretary, Foreign Minister, Political Advisers, etc.) smiling for the camera and assuring the Ukrainian citizens that they are here, and that they are not leaving.  Solidarity.  True Leaders.

And still another video of a Ukrainian politician taking up arms and patrols the city of Kyiv.  This one strikes straight to the heart as we all know this will never HAPPEN HERE IN HAWAII........

Y'all must know Ukrainians and Russians share a common culture.
This is more of a "Civil war" than a conquering army like Chinese or Arabs
violating their borders.
Civil wars are Very nasty historically.
But I ask how many of us would stand and shoot
our brother?
I may beat him up but I would not kill him.
I expect him for Easter Ham dinner.
Russians are pretty Christian, despite the
Commies and Democrats influence.
