I know when I got a HI vanity plate and decided to stop paying extra for it, I went to DMV and requested a standard plate.  I was not required to turn in the old plates, and they are still hanging up in my workshop.

If you pay for a vanity plate and no longer use it, you should not have to surrender it.  It's no longer assigned to your vehicle, so there should be no problems allowing him to keep it.

The vanity plate can be displayed in a windshield, rear window, or wherever else he wants as long as the assigned tags are properly displayed on the bumpers.  This is a 1st amendment issue, IMO.

Personally I don't see a problem.  The driver is just displaying in my opinion what the majority of people in this country think.

I don’t even know what that means.
No one knows what it means but it’s provocative. It gets the people going.

"This symbol of hate" ??

Since when is using the phrase "FCK ___" (fill in the blank) always an expression of hatred?  I have negative opinions of lots of organizations, but my opinions are not based on emotion.

Anyone saying they are out to "punch Nazis," "have dreamed about blowing up the White House," or labeled half the country as "racist deplorables" is basing their opinions on hate -- purely emotional hate.

It takes 2 HEX digits or 8 Binary digits to form an ACSII character.

Too inefficient for a license plate having limited 0x20 / 00100000 (space).

Just saying.   :shaka: :geekdanc: :D

I'm pretty sure California has had 7 alpha's for years.
But they have a few more cars than Hawaii.
Although on your average day in Ohau traffic
you'd find that hard to believe.
