3 guys offered me thier spot when they left...I wish I could have taken advantage...One guy had 1.5 hours left....I wonder if someone stands in front of the meter and someone reparks will it reset?

yeah, those new meters with the smartphone app and credit cards reset when the car leaves
same ones being used downtown too

A couple of times I was able to cockroach on the time from a new meter when the previous stall holder drove away within the structure.

Was there at about 9:00 today, one person ahead of me. By the time I was done there were about 8 to 10 people in line. BTW, I was probably the guy talking on the cell.

Maybe there is a window between when the car moves away from the meter and the time you pull in where the meter doesn't reset?   Say, If, when the person pulls away you jump right into the parking spot you can take advantage of the time?  Dunno.

My luck with time remaining in the stalls is entering the structure from the S. Beretania St entrance and going straight back. Dunno if it is a defective meter or what.
