Idalia caused Teslas in Florida to burst into flames following exposure to salt water.

At least two Tesla owners experienced their EV go ablaze after being completely submerged in salt water after wicked weather and extreme tides from Hurricane Idalia rocked the Sunshine State at the end of August, according to Fox 13 News.

Happens to non EVs as well. Had a ship fire and entire cargo ship was lost due to this a few times. They left the cars open to the elements for long oceanic trips.

So, any reports on when Biden will convert his car collection to electric?  He can afford it, unlike the people he thinks should buy EVs.

His V8 350 HP '67 Vette would be a good place to start if he really wants us to believe how serious he is about alternative energies.

So it's been a month since I lost access to my consistent charging station at my old office. On average, it takes me 3 days of checking to get an open charger at my condo.  Good thing I begin looking once I hit 50% juice and don't wait until I'm running on empty.  Also I rarely drive my car now, so if I were to drive say from Ewa to town like distances, there's no way I would be able to use the EV.

Food for thought if someone was thinking of buying 1. Looking at a Toyota Cross.

One has to wonder, just because you make a law, doesn't make it so.
Technology isn't there yet.
Regardless of how bad Democrats want it to be.

So besides getting an EV before our former resident climate conservation expert, I now ride a bicycle to work. When he was last here, he didn't ride a bicycle to work. So guess that's 1 more way I'm more "green" than him. And I'm not even trying to be green like how he is.

The bad news is your EV might catch fire and/or explode.
The good news is that until it does ignite, it may only be spying on you.
Interesting info on how low cost EV's may not be a good thing.

Drove a rental car recently. Not an EV but still a late model electronic nightmare. Won’t stfu about speed limits and auto corrects the wheel if I’m too close to the shoulder. Decided to have some fun and see how much I can make it complain. Hopefully the black box isn’t reporting back to my insurance company

Minnesota Cities Went All-In for Electric Transit,
But the Buses Couldn’t Handle the Cold

Who could have predicted that vehicle batteries discharge faster in very cold weather?

So, while it might be snowing, and there may be more demand for public transportation from those who normally walk or ride bikes, there are fewer bus routes being serviced caused by reduced battery power.
