Entertainers need to know their audiences.

If they are activists more than they are entertainers, that's on them -- not the fans or players.

Imagine if they invited a drag show to perform that insulted and satirized Jews, Buddhists or Muslims.

They can say whatever they want about religions (1A), but that doesn't mean paying attendees and sponsors should be forced to pay for it.

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world;
the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

My cousin who used to live in the San Francisco bay area
would never take me through the Castro district
because he was worried I'd shoot somebody.

Again, these people crave attention. Like Flapp said, know your audience.  Doing some kind of drag/gay show at a baseball game won't have a positive outcome. At a gay bar it will have a positive outcome.

Imagine if those god sign wavers that read "gays go to hell" or like words showed up inside a gay bar to do a speech.  It won't have a positive outcome. Then imagine the sign wavers get shocked that the outcome wasn't positive.

This side of the gay community is pushing away people who did support them and their reasonable actions.
