can you shoot as fast as you want?  can you shoot human shaped targets?  what kinda gun reg do you need?  I have my gun and perhaps I can find the receipt from the gun store (probably not) but other then that I don't store any other info with my guns. 

They have human torso targets set at 50 yard increments up to 400 I think,  maybe more.  When they are hit, they fall back and reset forward after.  Rapid fire and loading to full capacity is fine. Just don't shoot the birds lol.  Ill try post pics later.

I believe it goes out to 800.  If you're shooting well and one target doesn't go down, try another target at that distance.  It's the Marine Corps, and money goes to other stuff than fixing popup targets.

Also, regarding the birds, the base gets a HUGE fine if someone kills a bird.  Something like $10 grand per bird.  Marines will lose rank and get restriction if shooting negligently into the bird sanctuary.  Why they put a rifle range just uprange from a bird sanctuary (or made the bird sanctuary downrange of the rifle range) is beyond me.

From what I remember its a complimentary relationship. My feeble mind can't explain it right now but the range helps the bird colony's solitary existence from human interaction.

What days and times are the public allowed to shoot?

can we setup paper targets closer then 25 yards or reactive targets of our own (soda bottles/tannerite?)?

Today is second Friday of the month. I'm going to check it out after work.

Looks like alot of people showed up.  It was pistol only so I left since a Unit was using the rifle side.
