Generally speaking, I notice that internet articles are intentionally vague and misleading so people have to click to get the whole story. aka clickbait.
The other clickbait technique is to post a picture of some unrecognizable object so people click on it to find out what it is.
There are other tricks to clicks too.
--end of rant--
Allow me to pick up and run with that rant ...
I'm getting tired of reading the exact same paragraph 3+ times at a minimum.
The headline will quote a few words of someone's -- whatever you call a Tweet now -- X-post?
Then the "writer" (I'm being generous) tries to provide a context around what the person posted by including a little more of the post while making a poor attempt to paraphrase the content of the post.
Next, they state the exact quote from the person's post.
Then they add a highlight section with the exact same words in bold italics.
And finally they post an image showing the same exact words as they appear on that person's account!
So, after 4 or more paragraphs plus an image, all they've done is repeat the exact same thing 3 times in the body and a 4th time in the headline.
Once they've beat that dead horse as many times as required, they then post responses or other comments about the same issue using the same "style" -- So-and-so was also angry posting how the thing was bad. Their post read "The thing was bad." <insert image of the post saying "The thing was bad.">
After a few additional posts in that same format, I'm ready to comment how stupid this is getting, but then that would just get them more attention and money.
FOX isn't the only one doing it, but they do it every single time I pull up an article on the FOXNews app on my cell.
