To the POTUS it's all a game.

If what's being reported is true, biden said "appears as though it was done by the other team".

These kinds of remarks is why Arab leaders in America and elsewhere are critical of what the POTUS says about the conflict.

Not a very good choice of words when it looks like the middle east is about to explode.

The man can't take simple stage directions time after time.

What he thinks about Israel or any other important issue remains a mystery no matter what words he mumbles.

Now the WH is saying there are "conditions" for the $100M offer for Gaza assistance.

Biden is also talking about $1B for Israel's defense and assistance.  He is trying to appease both side with money.  When you help both your friend and their enemy, you are not a true friend.  That applies to both sides.  His attempt to be friends to both guarantees he is friends with neither.

On top of this, I read a law passed in 2017 (IIRC) by the Hamas/Palestinian government requires Hama to pay family of a member who is captured by Israel or martyrs themselves fighting against Israel.

Between cash from the US and cash from Hamas, being a terrorist-martyr is a lucrative gig -- for the martyr's survivors anyway.

'Pay for slay': Palestinian Authority may have to compensate
families of Hamas terrorists, report says

Quote
As the IDF fought to regain control over the dozens of towns and communities that
sit close to the border with the Palestinian enclave, it reportedly killed more than
1,500 of the terrorists and captured an additional 100 or more.

Palestinian Media Watch, an Israeli organization that draws attention to Palestinian
extremism, including among its leaders, surmised in an article published on its
website Tuesday that the Palestinian Authority, the body that governs Palestinians
in the West Bank, may now be obliged to pay salaries to the families of the dead
terrorists and fund those who are now being held by Israel.

"The Palestinian Authority pays salaries to every single terrorist and to anyone
who is arrested fighting Israel," Itamar Marcus, director of Palestinian Media Watch,
told Fox News Digital.

Marcus claimed the controversial payments, which are often referred to by critics
as "pay for slay," have been steadfastly defended by Palestinian Authority President
Mahmoud Abbas and members of his government. And he said they are applicable
to any Palestinian who "dies as a martyr from any faction, including Hamas and
Islamic Jihad."

It could be worse.  The government could also be required to pay back the terrorists' student loans!

They promised the TAXPAYERS money would only be used for humanitarian aid....and possibly new team uniforms. That is until they put a price on the hostages!

That, and where do you think Hamas will get the money to reward the families of jihadists?

Every dollar we give in aid is a dollar Hamas can redirect from aid and use for terrorism (i.e. rewards paid to families of jihadists, weapons, recruitment, ...).
